The Snuts announce UK winter tour

With their highly-anticipated new album Millennials coming later this month, Scottish 4-piece The Snuts have announced a 2024 UK winter tour, including a date at London’s Roundhouse on Wednesday November 27th.

Kicking off at Newcastle City Hall on Friday 22 November, the eight date tour follows the band’s sold-out album launch shows at the Glasgow Barrowland Ballroom on 27 & 28 February and a summer run of festivals including a headline slot at Liverpool’s Sound City Festival in May.

From start to finish, top to bottom, Millennials has been made entirely to The Snuts’ script. The result: a tight, taut, fat-free masterclass in songwriting and production, with 10 tracks clocking in just shy of half-an-hour. Also look out for ‘Millionaires’, an epic anthem with stadium scale, as well as ‘Circles’, the last track on the album and a fittingly epic closer to everything the band wanted to achieve with Millennials.

Frontman Jack Cochrane took the studio lead in collaboration with the band’s live MD Scott Anderson. Tracks were written on the run as The Snuts toured the world in support of their previous Top 3 album Burn The Empire, recorded on the fly in tour buses, dressing rooms, hotel rooms and a 300-quid-a-week studio in the Scottish Highlands.

The Snuts have a chart-topping and top 3 albums under their belts, songs that attack subjects affecting the youth of today, and an arsenal of adoring fans up and down the country. As these four lads from Whitburn, West Lothian vowed four years ago, The Snuts wanted to be risky. And with Millennials, the millennial men of The Snuts have followed through on that promise.

On their third album they’ve followed up, changed up and – fully, wholeheartedly, joyfully – revved up.

3rd time seeing them live but the first time seeing them at their own show and I could've cried I adore them so much and will definitely be seeing again in the future! One of my favourite bands and I hope they know how appreciated they are

Been a while since I've seen The Snuts and the defo didn't disappoint. Showed their class live again and the crowd were on top form. Great venue in the main room but again the bar let us down. Too slow and boy very expensive

  • Fuzzy sound at the city hall

by Bob Broon on 23/11/2024O2 City Hall Newcastle - Newcastle Upon TyneRating: 4 out of 5

This is the 5th time I've seen the Snuts, a great band who performed their socks off with a very slick show, but I was very disappointed with the sound quality, sadly. I don't know if it was just due to where I was standing - about 3 rows back from the sound desk, and underneath the balcony - but the vocals were muffled to the point where I couldn't make out what Jack was saying when he was talking to the crowd, and although I know all their material well, I couldn't always tell right away which song they were playing. I might expect sound problems at some of our city venues that are buildings converted from other uses, but the city hall is an established purpose built auditorium, and I've never noticed any problems with the sound there at previous gigs.

  • Tremendous as always

Brilliant gig, brilliant atmosphere. They are so fluid in the way they move from one song to the next. Really slick gig from start to finish and Top tunes of course!

  • What a band, Blew me away

    by AC86 on 20/07/2024Rating: 5 out of 5

Jack Cochrane vocals are like no other, but the band as a whole were outstanding. A range of songs that are all so good, seen them a few times now and they get better and better. The only gig left for them to do now is in my back garden in the summer and then I would be fully satisfied haha. Keep doing what your doing 👏 Da Iawn The Snuts 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
