Outdoor concert series in historic Halifax location
An architectural and cultural wonder, Halifax’s The Piece Hall is an award-winning destination that has been welcoming visitors through its historic gates since reopening in 2017.
An open-air concert series titled 'Live At The Piece Hall' began at this location in 2022, featuring a line-up of world-class artists and bands, all appearing in front of an unforgettable backdrop for experiencing live music.
Audiences have since been thrilled by performances from acts like Bryan Adams, Grace Jones, Noel Gallagher, Blondie, Paloma Faith, Pete Tong, Primal Scream, Sir Tom Jones, Hozier, Biffy Clyro, boygenius, Limp Bizkit, Sheryl Crow, Smashing Pumpkins, and Paul Weller.
For the historic venue's 2026 summer concert series, the likes of Embrace, Ethel Cain, David Gray, Billy Ocean, Opeth and The K’s were all announced, with plenty names yet to come.

Getting there
Halifax Railway Station with direct links to Leeds, Huddersfield, Bradford and Manchester stations is just a five-minute walk from The Piece Hall. After leaving the station, cross the road and head up Horton Street, turning right just after Railway Hotel on to Blackledge where you will see the south gate entrance.
The Piece Hall is only five minutes' walk from Halifax Bus Station, which has services from across West Yorkshire. Exit the bus station by the Metro shop, turn right and continue towards Wade Street. Then turn left along Market Street and continue past the row of shops. At the corner, turn left and you will see the west gate entrance.
From the M62, exit at junction 24 and follow signs for Halifax (A629) and the signs to The Piece Hall. Halifax has plenty of car parks and on-streetcar parking spaces all within walking distance to The Piece Hall.
