One of the North’s fastest rising indie bands of 2023 will return in 2024 with a fresh wave of UK shows
The K’s 2024 tour will coincide with the arrival of their debut album, I Wonder If The World Knows, slated for release March 22nd.
A 12-date run that will see the Earlestown indie band taking on some of the most sizeable venues of their career, the tour will include headline shows at Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse and London’s Electric Ballroom. In anticipation of the tour, frontman Jamie Boyle says: “After the release of our debut album, I Wonder If The World Knows, we will be heading out on our biggest tour to date! We couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve created and we can’t wait to play it live for you all.”
It’s safe to say The K’s are going places. Fast. In the last 12 months alone, they’ve sold out a UK tour, and sold every ticket for their upcoming Manchester Academy show in under 24 hours. They opened the main stages at Isle of Wight and Neighbourhood Festivals, as well as gracing the main stages at Leeds, Reading, Kendal Calling and Tramlines. They’ve supported Liam Gallagher, James and Blondie, and their 13-date sellout UK & Ireland tour in the spring led to a Royal Albert Hall appearance.
But this pulsing live reputation shouldn’t overlook the sophistication that gives The K’s their immediately identifiable blueprint. Their debut single, ‘Sarajevo’, garnered over 4 million streams in the process, and their 2023 single ‘Hoping Maybe’ became a phone-lights-on live anthem that reached number two on the iTunes chart.
Getting a taste for the big rooms while on a UK-wide run with fellow northern success stories The Reytons, The K’s will be hoping to take a leaf out of their book as they eye-ball the release of their own highly anticipated debut album, I Wonder If The World Knows, in 2024. Speaking about the upcoming release, Boyle says: “The long wait is nearly over, and we are finally on the brink of releasing our debut album. I Wonder If The World Knows is a written journey throughout the last couple of years of our lives throughout the ups, the downs and everything in between. We’ve put our heart and soul into making the perfect record and we can’t wait for you to hear it.”

Seen these lads grow from strength to strength..massive cult following from Newton le willows ..I'm not embarrassed to say that I've had many a dark day ,feeling low and anxious and listening to the songs ,listening to the lyrics fills my heart with gladness ..Loving the new album ,as do my daughter and son in law…And seeing them live is massive for all 3 of us,we always try and see them as much as we can ..local lads doing good ,loving what they do and they deserve all the success that's coming their way ….And thank you for turning my rainy days into sunny days …V.L.k
