About

The acclaimed troupe of singers, dancers and instrumentalists will be performing a brand new show in the group's signature time-twisting style -- putting a retro spin on everything from '70s rock classics and '80s Britpop hits, to current chart toppers, movie and video game soundtracks. With a heavy dose of danceable numbers alongside jaw-dropping showstoppers, the show works equally well as the perfect date night or family outing.

"In the midst of the AI hype all around us, some folks have gone so far as to proclaim that in the not-so-distant future, all of the music that we listen to will be AI generated...we’ll gladly take the other side of that wager," says PMJ founder and arranger, Scott Bradlee. "On the 2026 Postmodern Jukebox UK/Europe/Australia/New Zealand tour, we're humbly presenting our own unique vision of a spectacular future; one that is built upon the timeless musical genres of the past and the authentically human spirit of creativity that inspired them."

  • Disappointed Postmodern Jukebox fan :(

by Not what it used to be on 12/05/2025O2 Guildhall Southampton - SouthamptonRating: 2 out of 5

I used to love Postmodern Jukebox. My mum and I even planned weekend trips to Dublin and Vienna to see them back in 2016 and '17. Both shows were just as lively and energetic as their online videos and you could tell every performer adored the vintage style and was having a blast turning big modern hits into swing-jazz gold. But it seems a lot has changed since then. At the show we just saw in Southampton, most of the songs were ones we didn't recognise, and nearly all of them were really slow and dull. Not at all the high-energy party vibe we remembered. The only two songs we did know were more like filler than showstoppers. With thousands of great hits they could rework, it was baffling why they chose the ones they did. They even opened with We Are the Champions-and barely changed it from the original? Just... why? So strange. The guy with the washboard was brilliant, but in previous shows that would've been a fun bonus, not the highlight. And the tap dancer, who used to pop on stage for a number or two to great effect, was instead given full songs on her own… all slow, and mostly invisible because the venue doesn't have tiered seating. It just didn't work. What was especially strange was the MC hyping up the crowd at the start, telling us to get ready to party, practising woos and cheers, only for the entire setlist to be not party at all. A lot of the music wasn't even Jazz-Swing or even vintage anymore-at one point, there was a full song that was literally just an electric guitar solo?!! We honestly left with an hour to go, completely gutted. It didn't feel like the love for the music or the concept was there anymore. We actually wondered if Scott Bradlee is still involved, because this just felt like a really poorly done PMJ. They had such a fantastic and unique thing going. Why change it?

We saw them in Cambridge in April 2025 and we would definitely see them again! The voices and way they entertain is amazing. The really bring the songs to life with their unique style. PMJ are as good to watch as they are to hear and I would thoroughly recommend!

  • PMJ. A Special night

by Graham on 05/05/2025Glasgow Royal Concert Hall - GlasgowRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely brilliant night from start to finish. Support were amazing, a beautiful voice and accomplished guitarist. What followed was one of the best entertaining nights I've ever had. PMJ certainly put on a show.A talented compère with a great voice kept the show moving the entire night. A band of amazingly talented musicians who gave it there all, as well as joining in the fun created on stage. And the girls who took us by storm with their wonderful vocals, harmonies. Topped off with the most enthusiastic, humorous Tap dancing act I've ever seen. She was brilliant. And the crowd went wild.

The perfect combination of PMJ and the Albert Hall made a simply perfect evening. We had been trying to see the PMJ for over 5 years but never quite managed to coordinate times and dates. They were 100% worth the wait! It won't be another 5, that's for sure.
