RnB royalty hit the UK for RnB Xmas Ball 2025 in London, Birmingham and Manchester
The heavyweight lineup for the RnB Xmas Ball has just dropped with a feast of RnB superstars who will be performing live across three dates including O2 Arena, London on Monday 8 December, BP Pulse Live on Wednesday 10 December and Sunday 14 December at Co-op Live, Manchester.
Leading the pack is the greatest RnB group of all time Boyz II Men, alongside the one and only R&B icon Toni Braxton, who makes a long-awaited return to the UK stage for the first time in over 5 years, alongside the adored Joe and revered R&B boy band Dru Hill (with original members Sisqó, Nokio and Jazz).
This year’s show is the third annual RnB Xmas Ball and follows the huge success of last two years, which have saw RnB legend headliners including Monica, SWV, Keith Sweat and TGT (Tyrese, Tank, Ginuwine) and more smash sold out UK Arena shows to adoring fans.
The RnB Xmas Ball 2025 will see all four headliners perform with full bands. With old skool 90s RnB continuing its stratospheric ascendence, this year’s show promises to be an absolute roadblock, bringing the heat to the legions of London fans this Christmas.
The multi-platinum selling and multi-Grammy award winning Boyz II Men, are making a return after their smash hit UK tour last Spring. Originally from Philadelphia, Boyz II Men are a trio; Nathan Morris, Wanyá Morris and Shawn Stockman. The group, then a quartet, achieved global acclaim in 1991 for Top 5 hits ‘Motownphilly’ and ‘It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday’ from debut album ‘Cooleyhighharmony’. But it was ‘End Of The Road’ in 1992 that got to No. 1 around the world and topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 13 weeks, setting a new record for longevity. Boyz II Men broke their own record with ‘I’ll Make Love To To You’ and ‘One Sweet Day’ with Mariah Carey, each setting new records for the total number of weeks at number one. Followed by ‘On Bended Knee’ which saw Boyz II Men replace themselves at the top of the Billboard Top 100, only the third ever artists, after The Beatles and Elvis, to do so. Boyz II Men have received four Grammys, released 12 albums and the most recent studio album, Under the Streetlight, was released in 2017.
Singer, songwriter, actress and TV personality Toni Braxton has sold over 70 million records worldwide and is one of the best-selling female artists in history. Braxton has won seven Grammy Awards and numerous other accolades. She began performing with her sisters in the R&B group The Braxtons, and after grabbing the attention of producers LA Reid and Babyface, she signed with their label LaFace Records as a solo artist. Her self titled debut album came out in 1993, reaching No.1 in the Billboard 200 chart and selling 10million copies worldwide with its global smash singles ‘Another Sad Love Song’ and ‘Breathe Again’, garnering three Grammys, including one for Best New Artist. Tony had continued success with the albums Secrets with number 1 singles ‘You’re Makin’ Me High’/’Let It Flow’ and ‘The Heat’ with its single ‘He Wasn’t Man Enough’. Braxton's subsequent studio albums, Snowflakes, More Than A Woman, Libra and Pulse, a duet album with Babyface Love, Marriage and Divorce, Sex & Cigarettes with Def Jam, and Spell My Name with Island Records.
Multi-platinum selling artist Joe will be performing his most loved hits for his fans including ‘Stutter’, ‘All The Things (Your Man Won’t Do)’ and ‘Don’t Wanna Be A Player’.
Dru Hill, was founded in Baltimore in 1992, and now tour the world as a 6 piece boy band including original founding members Sisqó, Nokio and Jazz, plus new members Scola, Smoke and Black. Dru Hill has received multiple awards, performed across the world, topped the Billboard Music charts multiple times, and has sold over 40 million records worldwide. The group recorded 7 top 40 hits, including No.1 hits ‘In My Bed’, ‘Never Make A Promise and ‘How Deep Is Your Love’, which was included on movie soundtrack Rush Hour. The single ‘This Is What We Do’, featuring Method Man set the tone for the group's second album Enter The Dru. Then followed a hiatus while Sisqó pursued a solo career, then came albums Dru World Order and InDRUpendence Day’.
Toni Braxton said “I cannot wait to return the UK to perform for my British fans. It’s been too long. The RnB Xmas Ball shows will be extra special, so I’ll see you in December UK!”
Dru Hill said “The UK is one our favourite places to play. As long as they tell us what they want, we’ll give them what they need.”
Loved the concert. Tyrese and Genuwine did very good!
First of all we booked this concert on the premise that Jodeci were going go perform and be the headline act, only to then be told that they could no longer attend. The acts were no way at an acceptable level, singing on average 3 songs each with DJ's Frisky & Silk playing and filling in the gaps in between. When TGT came on they then announced that Tank would also not be attending due to illness. At this point I couldn't believe it what I was hearing! I have been to every one of these R&B concerts organised by the TCO group for the past 15 years and this was by far the worst I have been to. So much so that I (along with a lot of the audience may I add) an hour early! Straight after Genuwine and Tyrese left the stage. We didn't even wait for Keith Sweat to come on as at this point we had had enough. The concert was complete shambles! The concert was completely overpriced and not worth what we paid for it! I will be asking for a refund.
I never thought I'd be one of those who leaves a concert half way through, but this was so boring I had to! (literally fell asleep during the concert)!
Overall ok. I wasn't impressed with the performances of the acts as they were singing with their records playing. The place stunk of weed and the DJ wasn't great at introducing acts at all. Waste of money !!!! Crowd constantly standing. No point having a seated event.
it is wonderful moment for sharing this christmas!!!!!!!!
