On the Waterfront Festival

Set in the incredible location of Pier Head, with Three Graces on one side and the River Mersey on the other, the city forms the backdrop of a celebration featuring an array of world class talent from across various genres.

Now a firm fixure in the festival calendar previous performances have included the likes of Nile Rogers and CHIC, Sting, Deacon Blue, Jamie Webster, Wolfetones, Camelphat, Ocean Colour Scene, James, The Coral and The Zutons to name a few.

2026's edition brings another host of stellar acts to the Pier Head, with Paul Weller, Snow Patrol, Red Rum Club and Cream Classical all headlining.

Avoid the traffic and stress of parking and travel with Merseyrail; Liverpool Central, James Street and Moorfields stations are just a short walk away.

Customers travelling to and from On the Waterfront are advised to use Liverpool Central or Moorfields station.

On the Waterfront is easily accessible by Arriva Bus and is a short walk from Liverpool ONE Bus Station. (5 minutes) and a 14-16 minute walk from Queen Square Bus Station.
