About
Ocean Alley Announces Expansion of UK & European Tour in 2024
Australian psych rock band Ocean Alley unveils thrilling additions to their anticipated UK and European tour this Summer. The band, renowned for their dynamic live performances and infectious melodies, are set to grace stages in several UK cities including Dublin, Brighton, Exeter, and more, in August and September.
Who is Ocean Alley?
Ocean Alley, consisting of Baden Donegal (vocals), Angus Goodwin (guitar), Lach Galbraith (keys/vocals), Mitch Galbraith (guitar), Tom O’Brien (drums), and Nic Blom (bass), has captivated audiences worldwide with their unwavering dedication to music exploration. As a proudly independent band, their impressive catalogue boasts over 800 million streams, with a staggering 80,000 tickets sold globally across headline shows in 2023 alone.
Ocean Alley’s story so far
Following the release of their latest album, Low Altitude Living, in 2022, Ocean Alley’s popularity soared with their headline tour in Summer 2023, highlighted by a memorable performance at The Troxy, London, in June.
The news of their return to UK soil in September 2024 coincides with the viral success of their platinum hit, ‘Confidence’, from their breakthrough album, Chiaroscuro, in 2018.
Ocean Alley love the UK
Expressing their anticipation for the upcoming UK tour, Ocean Alley shares, “We love playing in the UK; the crowd always brings it, and we can’t wait to be back for even more shows this summer!”
Special guests Hockey Dad will join the UK tour in 2024
Joining Ocean Alley on tour will be fellow Australian surf rock outfit Hockey Dad. Known for their chart-topping albums, including 2020’s Brain Candy, which peaked at No.2 on the ARIA Albums Chart, the duo is set to release their fourth studio album, Rebuild Repeat, this summer.
