Lzzy Hale-fronted post-grunge and alt-rock quartet
Halestorm to embark on global tour throughout September and November 2025 in support of sixth studio album, EVEREST, including huge UK shows at Cardiff's Utilita Arena, Glasgow OVO Hydro, Birmingham's bp pulse LIVE, Manchester's AO Arena, and The O2 Arena in London.
The GRAMMY-winning band initially formed by siblings Lzzy and Arejay Hale with guitarist Joe Hottinger and bassist Josh Smith, have announced Everest, their sixth studio album out August 8 on Atlantic Records alongside the nEVEREST Duality tour. a US/Canada tour this fall with Lindsey Stirling and supported by Apocalyptica.
The band offered a glimpse of Everest with 'Darkness Always Wins', the first song to be revealed from the upcoming collection. The song teases an album, produced by GRAMMY winner Dave Cobb (Brandi Carlile, Chris Stapleton, Jason Isbell), that dives deeply, both lyrically and sonically, into the band’s mountainous climb over the last couple decades.
“Our album Everest is a story of our journey as a band, full of beautiful endings and new beginnings,” says Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale. “We weave a tangled web of melancholy, frustration, anger and the vast purgatory of love and love lost. It is a rollercoaster of epic musical detours, great songwriting and completely unhinged twists and turns. Everest is an auditory representation of the four pillars of Halestorm. Let us reintroduce ourselves and invite you into our world…if you dare.”
Rolling Stone said of 'Darkness Always Wins': "What the song has going for is its catchy, brooding, and dramatic in all the ways we love Halestorm songs to be." Revolver noted: "The arrangement remains lean even as the amps begin to crank into the red, though ‘Darkness Always Wins’ still sports some exquisite minor-key melodicism, a metal-chunked bridge, loud-as-hell requiem bells and a classically rippin’ rock guitar solo."
The newly announced nEVEREST tour follows an epic run first supporting Iron Maiden in Europe and dates with Volbeat in the US with a one night-only-performance at Black Sabbath’s final show in Birmingham, England.
What started as a childhood dream of Lzzy and Arejay Hale, Halestorm has scored seven No.1 hits at rock radio, and their music has surpassed one billion streams across platforms worldwide. They’ve received two GRAMMY nominations and won in 2012 for 'Love Bites (So Do I)' as Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance. The band has built a reputation for their dominating live performances and has shared the stage with rock icons like Heaven & Hell, Alice Cooper, and Joan Jett.

Great gig, 2 good opening bands and Halestorm just being fantastic. Easy to find seat and surprisingly comfy. 2 bottles of water at £7 is a bit of a rip off but enjoyed the whole experience.
This was my 4th time seeing Halestorm (includes supporting Iron Maiden) and it was the best yet. After Bloodywood I was concerned that the sound quality may not be up to it but Halestorm were tight. The vocals were clear and the band on form. Wonderful. Unfortunately I had to leave early due to last-train issues.
Halestorm were amazing!! First time seeing them live and would definitely go to see them again. Always like O2 as a venue.
Been following Halestorm for years and Lizzie just seems to get better every show. Supporting acts were good. Kelsey and the Heroines very special, great voice. Never expected an Indian metal band. Percussion was awesome and wound up the audience ready for Lizzie and the Gang, Great mix of old and new numbers. The Everest album is amazing. She just never fails to get a great vibe at all their concerts. Can't wait for the next tour. Venue (AO Arena Manchester) always good and about 2/3 full with real solid fans Great night.
Halestorm were absolutely amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed the show, incredible performance and the venue and the entire production was fantastic too.
I had a great night, though it was a little too long for me physically (health issues) For me the stars of the noght had to be Bloodywood, totally engaging and lively set from the guys, which I could have watched all night (they were the deciding factor in me going to the gig) Halestorm were very good with a polished set and obviously the reason for most people being there, but Bloodywood had an infectious energy that beat the headliners
A great venue. Comfortable seating. Great view of the stage! Kelsey Carter and the Heroines rocked the stage. Bloodywood were not a genre that I like unfortunately, although others enjoyed their music. Halestorm were awesome!! Lzzy Hale has the most amazing voice, and they are all so talented. I have seen them a few times before, and they just get better every time!
Absolutely amazing as always guys plus the added bonus of seeing Bloodywood for the first time 🤘
Great show from Halestorm all the classics plus a few off the new album. Arenas are where they belong not smaller venues like O2 Birmingham. Kelsey Karter was good as well but Bloodywood not my "cup of tea"
