About

Welsh hard rockers

Bridgend quintet Those Damn Crows are at the forefront of the new wave of Welsh hard rock, thanks to two high-charting records and sharing stages with some of the world’s loudest bands, from Skindred to ZZ Top.

Frontman Shane Greenhall, drummer Ronnie Huxford, guitarists Ian “Shiner” Thomas and David Winchurch, and bassist Lloyd Wood formed Those Damn Crows in the Welsh valleys in 2014. They quickly earned a formidable reputation and were named ones to watch by Planet Rock and Metal Hammer.

Their 2018 debut Murder And The Motive landed at No.5 in the UK Rock and Metal album charts. By 2019, they were appearing at Download on three separate occasions over the weekend. When they returned in 2020 with Point Of No Return, their popularity had exploded and the record peaked at No.14 on the UK album charts. Their third record Inhale/Exhale performed even better, climbing as high as No.3 in 2023. That same year, the band opened for rock royalty Hollywood Vampires at Scarborough Open Air Theatre.

  • Epic 🤘🔥

by Rockchick Shez on 23/03/2025The Alhambra, Morecambe - MorecambeRating: 5 out of 5

Wasn't sure what to expect of the venue having never been before but what a wonderful place. Plenty of room even though sold out, fab bar area with merchandise set up, two other bars including a can bar. All reasonably priced and much lower than venues we usually go to. Staff were really helpful and friendly. We'll definitely be back!! James Bruner was good although not really our thing. Then The Crows.....they never disappoint and we've seen them in a variety of venues including festivals and arena. This was special!! Small venue, amazing crowd and the Crows were totally epic!! Great setlist of old and new tracks. Can't wait for new album and more live shows. If you've not been to a TDC shows - go and you'll be hooked🤘

  • Band were brilliant, venue not so good

by Nudge on 19/03/2025Sheffield Corporation - SheffieldRating: 4 out of 5

Love Those Damn Crows they are always on top form, don't know the new songs yet but they sounded good, cant wait to get the new album so I can get to know the new songs as well. Saw them last at Cardiff Arena, now that was a brilliant venue and great sound. The Corporation at Sheffield is another matter, its long, narrow and has some great big concrete pillars in the way down the middle. It was packed at the front so we stood near the back and the sound was so quiet, couldn't hear what was being said over the microphone sometimes. My first time at this venue, don't think I will be going back again. Looking forward to seeing TDC again though in a better venue, their songs are just so uplifting, first saw them at Steelhouse and they blew me away the first time I saw them
