Reasonably quick to get into the arena. Some confusion over early entry times. Music/view/screens good. Toilets not as good as possible! Lack of gel/toilet rolls and smelly!

Paid extra for the vip area, advertised as ample seating so assumed hubby with a bad back would be able to sit down. No such luck, the picnic tables provided were taken and no one willing to give up a seat, unable to sit on the floor our only option was sharing (with a lovely couple also having the same dilemma) a park bench overlooking the toilets! A few hay bales could have sorted the lack of seating very easily. The view of the stage from the viewing platform was blocked by a massive tent structure so you actually got a better view from the screens. I paid alot of money to finally watch madness in person but ended up seeing very little. Only one option of lager which may not be to everyone's taste. Vip toilets okay apart from the water running out so you couldn't wash your hands 🤢. Signage entering and leaving could have been better, not clear where to go and leaving in the pitch black in a big crowd walking on uneven surfaces was not the best experience, sure they could have rigged up some lights quite easily. Time in-between acts was flat, very quiet music on in background, could have been used as a good opportunity for local bands to play to a big audience, kept the atmosphere going. All in all had a good night but would definitely not pay the extra for vip again, think some locals sat in the park with a four pack definitely had the right idea!

This festival likes to con true music fans. Released tickets 7 months before the gig, rather than offer a reduction or early bird option., instead they waited until only 2 months prior to the gig then started offering free tickets out when you bought 3 tickets. At no point did the organisers offer a free additional ticket for all the people who'd already paid for 3 or more tickets. If you're a true music fan they penalise you

Madness and the supporting acts were fantastic but I wouldn't go to another event at Castle Park again, firstly we paid for VIP yet the VIP section was at the back of the venue which I have no understanding why that would be VIP if you are put at the furthest point of the venue and 70% of the viewing platform was not suitable for viewing the stage as the view was blocked by the sound tent. We had a option to sit on the grass in a separate section near the stage but it was so small and not suitable for the volume of attendees who also paid for VIP, everyone tried to congregate in such a small section it just wasn't worth the money. At the end of the event we were all ushered back through the upper castle park and on to the High Street so we had to come back on ourselves and race to catch the train as we were not allowed to exit at Gate 3 where we came in. There were multiple fights that also took place and just general poor behaviour from very drunk attendees which you get at most concerts but they were not handled swiftly enough by the security team. Take a note out of Thetford Forest layout for VIP, you could learn a few things. Everyone had to be in the park by 7pm but at 8pm they were still letting people in and the event was full to bursting and it was horrendous trying to get to and from eateries or the VIP toilets. Won't be attending another concert at Castle Park again.

The acts were amazing. The queues and price of food and drink not amazing but awful!

Madness was fantastic the bar was ok should have had better larger in cans .we was in vip area I was very disappointed with how far back it was and how small it was we decided to go stand in the general area and so was a lot of people

Great events at a very reasonable price. We used accessible and found the viewing ramp, offered a fantastic view but needed better access to food and drink. It was a long trudge round the back to get to vendors. Otherwise, couldn't fault it. Security were very professional.

Great gig, great setting, great atmosphere, except for getting away from the park after the event
