Colchester Castle Summer Series Tickets

Not a bad venue but traffic could of been better organised in & out of car park,sadly alot of rude people pushing by & treading on people's blankets wich I think should be taken up wen the main band is on stage so you can move & dance better dont waste your money on vip tickets your right at the back with limited veiws could hear many people moaning about it! there is plenty of toilets & food venues & free water with not many ques,the bands playing was awesome as always with a nice bassy sound system.

Colchester castle great venue for outside concert. Shame couldn't take chairs as blankets took up more room and people walking over them. Food and drinks were extortionately priced but food was good quality, drinks were small cans so felt ripped off. But all in all it was a great concert and had good support bands

A well organised event straight through to get tickets checked,no queuing up at the bar,sound quality was really great and the lighting was great as well and plenty of water if and when needed

Fantastic gig at Colchester watching Madness - no stress, no hassle - carpark was very easy and efficient with no long queues leaving the venue. Would definitely revisit the venue for future concerts 👍🏻

We have been so fortunate to have these events running in our local park. Atmosphere was amazing and appeared to have no problems that we saw. Staff were friendly and the bands were great especially Madness Well worth going but felt sorry for the people that have to clear up as loads of rubbish left even though there were bins

What a brilliant well organised event . In stunning setting with fabulous music . The atmosphere was electric with happy people enjoying the bank holiday . Madness delighted the crowd as always with their timeless sound and sense of humour. Just fab .

Great day. Music excellent. Only saw one day, wish we had seen more. Great to have top acts in Colchester

Firstly the staff at the festival were friendly and helpful. This was my first time at the festival and the whole evening was delightful. So many great bands, the festival food was amazing too.

Parking was well signposted and well staffed. No queues to leave! Lots of choices of food. Food and drink prices as expected. No queues at bar/toilets. Really good atmosphere. Lightning Seeds are always good and James were excellent!!

Raaaaa! So excited to finally see The Waeve - utterly brilliant, but of course they would be cos it's Graham! Will seek them out again and again.

Friday night 22nd Aug. We had a great time. "James" were superb as always. We found the venue was great too. Very well set up. No big queues at the bar and the toilets. Generally good views of the stage all round. Busy leaving but it seemed to flow okay.

Great concert, James were amazing. Great venue and well organised. Only downside was toilets which were awful, even early on in the evening.

Only adverse comments about catering - my noodles were mediocre and bread pudding overcooked. Drinks very overpriced - £6.50 for a small can of alcohol free beer. The 500ml sealed water bottle rule is very strictly interpreted - my bottle was flavoured water and while it was eventually let in I was told it shouldn't be. As other people have said just park in local car parks, closer and cheaper.

The whole evening from start to finish was professionally done, the entrance was seamless. We came to see James, and they did not disappoint. Absolutely cracking night. Well done Colchester.

The event was amazing, the set up was good but not much choice with gluten free options. I'm on a low FODMAP diet (medical reasons), I didn't have much choice of anything. On the website it said no chairs allowed, frustrating as I find it difficult to sit on the floor due to hip replacement. I did see some people with chairs on the main area.

Had an amazing evening seeing Texas, found the venue very well organised getting in and getting out, wide range of food stalls and bar, would definitely go here again to see a concert

Had an excellent time both at Tom Jones and texas the grounds were well signed and staff were lovely

Great evening - Texas were incredible and so entertaining!! Great venue and within easy reach of train station. Well organised and efficient staff. Fab atmosphere. Lovely food. Only downside is not being able to get a coffee. Gave up queuing after 20 mins as still nowhere near the front. Ridiculous only having one coffee vendor!!! Otherwise a brilliant evening!

Great location, lots of food choices & bars. Texas was amazing as always!
