  • Disabled review

Coming from a disabled person, great to see disabled parking available but at 0.9mile away!!. Having to go up and down very steep hills and travelling through the campsites ment that by the time we got to the main area batteries were at 60% . Once you got to the main area the disabled facilities were good . This festival is great for families with children as a lot to do. Would be better if there were stalls selling goods, just seem to sell food ,food and drinks . Not sure if I would go back

  • Boring/overpriced/overcrowded and not worth the money

    by J.81 on 04/08/2025Lulworth Castle - DorsetRating: 2 out of 5

It was far to overcroweded this year, no room to move. Great for young families, boring for older children & adults. Extortionate prices once inside. Main stage acts was was mediocre or really bad, apart from 2 or 3, sugarbabes did minimum to earn their money, in my opinion Sir Tom Jones still has his voice but shouldn't of been the closing show..compared to last year. On a positive toilet facilities was alot better. Wasn't worth the money this year at all.

  • Expensive

by Jadeyboo on 04/08/2025Lulworth Castle - DorsetRating: 3 out of 5

Very good weekend but very expensive. They should have kept their prices better and more reasonable £5 for a pack of Pringles! £55 for colour hair braids. Food over priced need to come with at least £1000 just a money maker. Disappointed in the prices. Could get into any of the making and building activities all fully booked before 12 so my children didn't get chance to do any in the whole 4 days of being there. Need better system as to many people there and not enough spaces. Wouldn't do a full 4 day weekend again only come for a day! For what we paid and spend could have gone aboard! Disappointed in stores, food, and activities but was good with music and entertainment

  • Fun but dissatisfied

by Stuart on 04/08/2025Lulworth Castle - DorsetRating: 3 out of 5

A few good acts but line up not as good as last year - interesting and enjoyable entertainment. Particularly Basement Jax,Tom Jones,Circus Raj and crafting tents . Site was badly managed in general - access delayed on first day due to failures in basic set up. Treatments cancelled due to ? more failures. On stage acts interrupted for technical system failures. Portaloos blocking and without paper or hand gel. Showers leaking !! Insufficient charging points in accessibility camping . Thank goodness weather was fine

  • Another memorable experience

by LC on 20/08/2024Lulworth Castle - DorsetRating: 4 out of 5

CB 2024 Dorset was another memorable family event. As another year passes, we took time as a family to hook up with friends and enjoy everything that CB has to offer. Kicking off with bottomless bistro, enjoying the feast collective and letting the kids have more freedom than previous years. Our experience was different this year as we found ourselves enjoying different parts of CB that weren't on our radar previously. Including visiting the library tent, taking full advantage of the sports area to name a few. The site layout changed considerably this year, some for the good but others felt a little divisive such as the craft area and the big bouncy castle moving to a less visible area on the site. There were also a few form favourites missing like the blow up church and the big top on the lower field, not to mention the wonderful Chandon Bar! We aren't anti- change but some of the adjustments weren't communicated well including the partnership with Barclaycard ending (darn it - just got one for this purpose too) and also the change of phone mast to Vodafone which meant a huge majority of us had zero signal - not great if you smugly attached an Apple tag to track your kids when they were off enjoying some 'independent' time. That bit me on the bit when my daughter got lost …. Small things, but tweaks that could have made our team even more enjoyable! Pete Tong was epic but we definitely missed Jo Wiley….. love a bit of a 90s/ naughties dance… Amy Winehouse experience was great too - missed Elvana though - please bring them back next year. Overall - great time, great fun and excellent weather - highly recommend

  • A treat for the family

by JL on 16/08/2024Lulworth Castle - DorsetRating: 5 out of 5

Wonderful stuff. Our first one, learned loads about it. Highlights for us were The Flying Seagulls circus skills school. They were sensational!!!

  • Family fun in the sun

by Happy Camper on 06/08/2024Lulworth Castle - DorsetRating: 5 out of 5

We booked camping plus, which was the best festival camping experience with the family. Showers and loos were clean and lots of loo roll. We were close enough to the festival but far enough away to not be bothered by the noise late at night. The festival itself was fab, so much to do and see that I don't think we managed everything! The variety of food available was great, my only gripe is the price versus the portion size and not all food vendors provided kids meals for £6. Really well organised and we felt safe. Excellent work Rob da Bank and team.

  • It was Ok, wouldn't rush to go back

by Rab on 03/08/2024Lulworth Castle - DorsetRating: 3 out of 5

Nice venue, lots of activities, but zero shade on a sunny day. music earlier in the day pretty pants and full of (very) random filler acts. later on it got better but a couple of famous ones "had sore throats due to too much touring" so weren't able to complete songs. All a little bit "meh…" unfortunately.

  • Wonderful experience

by BestivalEd on 31/07/2024Lulworth Castle - DorsetRating: 5 out of 5

My wife, I and our 2 children aged 8 and 3 had a fantastic time. Aside from the main stage there is so much to do and see it's impossible to get bored. It was great to have a completely screen free weekend full of fun. We will be back I'm sure.

  • Amazing Family Festival

by Sammy on 30/07/2024Lulworth Castle - DorsetRating: 5 out of 5

Great festival for families Lots of free activities for the kids art / crafts / roller skating was a hit this year / science / space activities Music is brilliant for both kids and adults This year they did food vouchers which saved lots of money on lunch / snacks etc and a variety of choices for dinner (my only point would be to make the lunches simple for kids i.e ham sandwiches / cheese / chicken less mayo !) Great weekend had by all
