Already seen Kae several times in concert & in spoken word performances. Saw Jacob Alon headlining at Band on the Wall earlier in the year. This gig promised much and delivered so much more than I thought possible. Despite Jacob's obvious nervousness, their performance was outstanding and quite rightly demanded the Hall's full attention. What can I say about Kae's performance? It's difficult to be succinct but his performance was top quality in all aspects of such a concert: heartwarming, tear-jerking, thought-provoking and honest throughout. The atmosphere was one of the best I've experienced for quite sometime - certainly well worth the pre-performance investment in a tour t-shirt to remind me of just how artistic & creative Kae Tempest.
