Absolutely gutted!
by Chris and Andrea on 07/04/2025Rating: 1 out of 5After years of anticipation and hearing excellent reviews, I finally purchased 2 tickets at the co op live for my partners birthday. Unfortunately, we were sadly disappointed. From start the finish the event wasn't very good for us . The Co op live arena is an absolute joke ...really expensive. £18 for 2 drinks . £30 for 2 little burgers and chips . £9 cans of drinks , £12.50 for a burnt chicken sandwich ...... And the seats are awful . No room whatsoever, Really tight and very uncomfortable, we would never visit there again . Has to be the worst venue we've ever been!!! In regards to the show....we didn't like the venue but really wanted to persevere and watch The War of the worlds ....sadly it didn't live up to the hype . Very repetitive music , cheesy and low budget cgi movie , the lighting and laser show was awful . Just an all round disappointment., especially paying the prices charged.. We felt like to get the full immersive experience , you'd need to be in the middle or at the front....which cost a staggering £500-£1000 per ticket . We paid just over £200 row Block 110 row 12. We didn't experience anything great 😕 I'm sure others had a nice time , and I don't want to sound like a hater, I just wanted to review my experience.... Years of excitement for this show ....Sadly , we left at the interval .. we are absolutely gutted and just didn't like anything about the experience..
