About Cradle of Filth
Cradle of Filth are an English extreme metal band, formed in 1991. Comprising both black metal, gothic, symphonic metal and other metal genres, they're heavily influenced by gothic literature, poetry, mythology and horror.
Current members are Dani Filth (lead vocals), Martin "Marthus" Skaroupka (drums, keyboards, orchestration), Daniel Firth (bass), Lindsay Schoolcraft (keys and vocals), Richard Shaw (guitar) and Marek "Ashok" Šmerda (guitar).
Cradle of Filth of released 12 studio albums to date, with their most recent being 2017's Cryptoriana – The Seductiveness of Decay. The band are going to hit the studio soon to begin recording a new album loosely set to arrive in 2020.
