While singing with her sisters in girl group The Braxtons, Toni Braxton was spotted by their superproducing duo of Babyface and L.A. Reid.

After an appearance on the soundtrack of Eddie Murphy's film Boomerang, in 1993 she released her debut album which became a smash hit, selling over eight million copies, winning three Grammy Awards and spawning the hit singles Breathe Again, You Mean the World to Me and Another Sad Love Song.

Toni's second album Secrets was released in 1996 and became a phenomenon. First single You're Makin Me High gave Toni her biggest chart hit to date, only to be eclipsed by the smash hit second single Unbreak My Heart.
