Unexpected Quality
by Grandma Review on 25/09/2024O2 Forum Kentish Town - LondonRating: 5 out of 5I had bought tickets for my granddaughter as a birthday present. I'm fairly broad with my musical tastes but wasn't sure how I would hold up with a 'screamy' gig. I had heard of none of the acts! All of the acts were great quality and entertaining. The front man for Senses Fail is the best front man I have seen in many years. He fully engaged the audience with his chat and antics. I came away a new fan! My only 'grumpy old woman' complaint was the excessive moshing during the Save the Day set, which the band seemed to enjoy. These chunky 30+ year old men were bashing about and taking over a very large area of the floor with no concern for the people they were bashing into (including pensioner granny and tiny 15 year old school girl). No-one at the venue seemed to consider it excessive but it completely spoilt the bands set for me. The venue was easily accessible and suitably intimate. Fans were all there for a good time (even those moshing) which made for a good evening. It would have been even better if there had been a few chairs somewhere for the length of the gig - 4 hours of dancing and a long journey home nearly finished me off!
