About
The award-winning, genre-busting RADAR Festival returns to Manchester on 31 July - 2 Aug for its 2026 edition
RADAR is an indoor modern festival of contemporary and progressive music. RADAR celebrates the artists shaping the future, not the echoes of the past. Two stages – no clashes – a thriving music and gaming market, artist masterclasses, retro arcades, interactive spaces and much more...
From its inaugural edition, RADAR Festival has consistently championed a curatorial approach, showcasing a diverse array of progressive music. The festival's definition of "progressive" extends beyond genre labels, encompassing anything "interesting and boundary-pushing." A community that starts with music; created for fans, by fans. RADAR is a wholly welcoming event where inclusivity, diversity and equality shine.
Headliners announced so far for 2026 are Animals As Leaders, with The Pineapple Thief, Northland and Protest The Hero topping a packed bill spanning three days and nights at Manchester's O2 Victoria Warehouse.
Alongside the acts announced, RADAR's commitment to a musical and gaming paradise continues: their music and gaming market will return. Expected to be wowed by a retro arcade, the best new instruments and music tech, and many more besides.
Also demonstrating their commitment to new bands, RADAR will continue to donate a portion of ticket sales proceeds to Music Venue Trust and Save Our Scene's Liveline Fund, in order to support grassroots music venues.
