Hugely influential songwriter, producer and guitarist and co-founder of CHIC
Nile Rodgers is a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee and a multiple Grammy Award winning songwriter, composer, producer, arranger, and guitarist.
In 2023 he became the first creator to be awarded a Lifetime Achievement Grammy for his legacy in the same year as being awarded a Grammy for his new work with Beyoncé on the smash hit ‘Cuff It.’
As the co-founder of CHIC, Nile pioneered a musical language that generated chart-topping hits like ‘Le Freak’, the biggest selling single in the history of Atlantic Records and sparked the advent of hip hop with ‘Good Times’ and ‘Rapper’s Delight.’ His work in The CHIC Organisation, including ‘We Are Family’ for Sister Sledge and ‘I’m Coming Out’ for Diana Ross, and his productions for artists such as David Bowie (‘Let’s Dance’), Madonna (‘Like A Virgin’) and Duran Duran (‘The Reflex’), have sold more than 500 million albums and 100 million singles worldwide. In 2023, Nile Rodgers & CHIC announced a string of UK shows for the following summer.

Great line up with Deco and Sophie Ellis Bextor. Following by the brilliant Nile Rogers and Chic . Spectacular Night with great tunes, great performance and wonderful memories.
Downside is not allowing fold up chairs in for over 60's who have to stand for 3 hours plus, should be an area for seats and an area for people who want to stand. This group is from the 80's for most of the fans are in the older age bracket.

Nile Rodgers and Chic, Sophie Ellis-Bexter and Deco were a great night out. Well organised concert and bar etc and good weather. I had the tickets on my rather old phone and couldn't see them at the last minute. Luckily we managed to transfer them to my husband's phone, but we very nearly didn't get in. It took us an hour to get out of the car park, but I suppose there were an awful lot of people.
The concert was great from start to end! Music, sound, organisation was just exceptional! Nile, the vocalists and the band worth every single penny. It was a privilege to be able to attend such a great concert. Thanks Nile for all you have created!

Stunning setting at Westonbirt Arboretum. Superb support Acts in up'n'coming Deco and the energetic Sophie Ellis-Baxter topped off by the funkmeister himself leading Chic through his incomparable back catalogue. Hit after Hit had the crowd on its feet throughout, all left feeling happy humming their favourite Chic number. What an evening, impossible nit yo have left the gig without feeling positive!
Just been to see Nile Rodgers and Chic at Dreamland Margate ... absolutely brilliant ... wonderful evening and the venue was fantastic

Nial Rodgers Brilliant, Chic Brilliant, Sophie Ellis Bextor Brilliant, Deco Brilliant. The artists were enjoying it as much as the crowd and I am sure they all went overtime to give the crowd as much time as possible. Lovely setting at Westonbirt with plenty of facilities. Unfortunately leaving the venue was a farce, took over an hour before any vehicles left our part of the car park. Not sure if this was down to the organisers or impatient crowd (event sold out) causing the issue. Having said that, it was a fantastic evening and the whole family (including my 4 year old grandson) will be talking about it for a long time. Thank you for a great night Neal, Chic, Sophie and Deco.
Seemless organising led to a very successful event. From entering the car park under direction, going through the bag check and ticket check right through the evening everything ran smoothly.
Music was the glue to bought 10,000 people to enjoy the evening
The warm up band Deco was very good, wish them well with their album release soon. Sophie Ellis Bexter took the evening to the next level and Nile and Chic were consummate professionals, didn't care that it took nearly an hour to escape the car park, just watched and listened to the videos taken and enjoyed it all again 😎🎶
Lovely setting amongst the trees, However, I think a bar and toilets on each side of the entrance would be a great idea as so many people were falling over people's bags and picnic
Fantastic performance by Nile Rogers +Chic. Impossible not to dance your heart out! We loved Westonbirt Arboretum, only criticism would be the car chaos trying to get out afterwards x
We really enjoyed the concert- Sophie Ellis Bexter and Nile Rodgers were great. However having to walk over a mile from the car park to the venue was very unexpected. This needs to be made clear when buying tickets .
The concert itself was superb. Great energy from all performers. Westonbirt is a great venue but getting out at the end is a complete nightmare made worse by the stewards sending you on back roads, rather than onto the main road. Parking itself is easy, as is getting through the bag check and ticket scanning. Not a bad choice of food. Coffee queues can be lengthy at times Overall the music was superb its just getting out that is dreadful
Incredible evening! Hosts were very welcoming and all the music as amazing!! Audience participation was also great. Chic and Nile were one of the greatest I've ever seen! Would definitely love to watch them again
Kept our group up singing and dancing g the moment he got on stage, amazing si gers in the group and the band were exceptional
I enjoy going to gigs and have been to quite a few but the setlist, sound and atmosphere was incredible, one of the best gigs I've been to. Nile was on top form and him and his band got the crowd in the palm of their hands. Venue was great too, felt very personal
