About

The second edition of London’s acclaimed sustainable music festival returns to Victoria Park in 2026

Launched in summer 2025, LIDO puts artists first and hands them control, for a festival entirely programmed by the headliners.

They bring their favourite artists, collaborators, newly tipped artists and their own style to each day. From the acts to the artwork and stage design – every aspect is personal to them. Named after Victoria Park’s Lido Field, the event offers hand-picked music line-ups with a strong focus on sustainability, as well as community events during the week.

LIDO Festival’s first edition welcomed headline performances from Massive Attack, Jamie xx, Outbreak Fest with headliner Turnstile, Charli XCX and London Grammar, offering a meticulously curated line-up of artists, blending established names with rising talent. The festival’s first ever midweek programme In the neighbourhood provided free arts and wellbeing activities for the local community, reinforcing LIDO’s commitment to cultural enrichment.

The festival not only showcased world-class music but also set a new benchmark for sustainable large-scale events through a landmark green power strategy delivered in partnership with Grid Faeries and Ecotricity, amongst other partners. London’s first main stage powered by a 3MWh solar-charged battery was combined with hydrogen and portable battery technologies, sustainable food concessions, and zero landfill waste management, achieving 32 hours of 100% battery operation and setting a new standard for environmentally driven live events. By embedding sustainability at its core, LIDO Festival aims to redefine what it means to be a responsible, forward-thinking live music event. With an uncompromising focus on reducing environmental impact while delivering an unforgettable experience, LIDO is on the path to becoming not only London’s newest festival but also one of its greenest.

The first name announced for 2026 was Maribou State, headlining LIDO Festival on Saturday 13 June 2026 with Kelis, Folamour, Theo Parrish and Moodymann set to support.

Next up is CMAT, the Euro-Country superstar-in-the-making who is set to illuminate East London's Victoria Park on 12 June alongside fellow guitar-toting luminaries in Father John Misty and Sharon Van Etten & the Attachment Theory. Getdown Services, Beverly Glenn-Copeland and Elizabeth Copeland, Katy J Pearson, Junior Brother, Jacqui McShee’s Pentangle and Zakia have also been announced.

  • Too Restricted & Expensive Food/Drink

by Billycan on 19/06/2025Victoria Park London - LondonRating: 3 out of 5

Was extremely disappointed to be banned from bringing "Ultra Lightweight Compact Camping Chairs", especially as there was plenty of room away from the stages. The food and drink was crazy expensive and very mixed quality. One cheese 'truffle' burger (without fries) ordered alone was over £12.25, and it was red raw in the middle! - This was bought early on when it was not busy too, sadly I'd walked too far away to eat it and return/complain. Also the beer cans eg Grolsch & Jubel were about £8 each (about £1 each at Supermarkets)... Performances were good albeit with some technical issues on Stage 2, and lyric issues for London Grammar (but they gave a great finale).

  • Such a disappointment

by Terribly organised and sound quality on 15/06/2025Victoria Park London - LondonRating: 1 out of 5

Terrible organisation- couldn't get into tent to see the dare . The sound quality was also a complete joke.

  • Good music, terrible organisation

by Em on 15/06/2025Victoria Park London - LondonRating: 2 out of 5

While I enjoyed the day as a whole there were things that made the festival feel unsafe and uncomfortable for everyone. There were way too many people in a small space. Having to queue 45 mins every time for the toilet. We were blocked off by rude security from getting to the food stands while someone was playing in the tent. I was right up against the barrier with people pushing me from behind. This made me panic and have a fear of being crushed. There was no need to block it off in the way they did. Also when the main act was on the sound was so quiet I could only hear the people around me. On top of this the main set was cut 20 mins shorter meaning the set lasted less than an hour. I wouldn't recommend

  • Stunning scenes

by Hi Drated on 15/06/2025Victoria Park London - LondonRating: 4 out of 5

Had a great experience from start to finish. Seamless entry, never waited longer than 10 minutes for the toilets or the bar. Would have loved to see more entertainment other than music e.g fairground rides. Also taxis could have been easier to find. Overall good experience, brat summer forever!

  • Good but so hard to access the smaller stages

by Rick D on 14/06/2025Victoria Park London - LondonRating: 3 out of 5

Great bands but why were the 2 smaller stages so small. The Club was especially bad as I had to line up for 30 minutes to see Model/Actriz. If I pay for a festival I want to see any band anytime I want. Better stages next time please

  • Disappointing

by Vee on 07/06/2025Victoria Park London - LondonRating: 1 out of 5

This was one of the worst and badly organised festivals I've ever attended in 30+ years. Only 2 stages and not enough bands to play both stages. The food and toilet queues were ridiculous! Please take note from the Wide Awake festival organisers this year which was much bigger and so much better organised than this expensive shambles.

by Good but venue and transport suck on 07/06/2025Victoria Park London - LondonRating: 4 out of 5

Seeing as massive attack are all about using public transport the venue sucks. Getting to venue and back for last district line was hell. Not all tubes run 24x7
