Known by the stage name King Princess, Brooklyn-based Mikaela Straus is the singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist behind the incredible song 1950 released in early 2018. Her debut EP, Make My Bed, came out last June.

    one evening i sat and thought: "i hate myself, i want to party" so i decided to go to a KP concert. that "winter [was beginning to look] hopeful". as i was "in the back of the cab" i kept thinking "King O King O King O Ling i love you." "you're the princess. You're the king princess". i was worried the "house would burn down" with the energy produced at the concert, but i knew you would not "let us die". i decided to not be so "tough on myself" and instead crowned myself "cheap queen". i was so sad to leave the concert but i had to return to being a "homegirl" again. the concert was amazing. i will never "forget about it". can't wait to see you in "ohio" KP. i will be "watching my phone" for updates on your next tour.
