The multi platinum-selling Canadian rocker tours the UK in 2025
For most people, a No.1 hit like (Everything I Do) I Do It For You would define their entire career. For Canadian rocker Bryan Adams, it’s possibly not even his most popular song.
Pre-worldwide chart domination with the theme song from Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves, Adams was already a stadium-packing megastar, no small thanks to a string of radio-friendly hits including Run To You, Heaven and Summer Of ’69.
Adams got his start as a 15-year-old, fronting the Canadian rock band Sweeney Todd. Following his departure from the band, he formed a songwriting partnership with former Prism drummer Jim Vallance, leading to his self-titled debut in early 1980. You Want It You Got It followed a year later and saw Adams begin to make a dent on the charts.
That progress was solidified in some style in 1983 with Cuts Like A Knife, bagging Adams his first top ten hit in the US with Straight From The Heart. A year later, Adams topped the album charts in both Canada and the US with his fourth solo album Reckless, egged on by a string of high charting singles, including the No.1 Heaven and two further top ten hits in Run To You and Summer Of ’69. Reckless also featured It’s Only Love, a duet with Tina Turner that was nominated for a Grammy.
Adams’ purple patch continued with Into The Fire, which again charted highly at home and abroad and yielded another top ten single in Heat Of The Night.
All of this would pale in comparison to the Adams’ flying start to the next decade, particularly (Everything I Do) I Do It For You, the first single taken from his 1991 album Waking Up The Neighbours. Thanks to its prominence in the hit film Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves, the single was a resounding success, hitting No.1 across the world and staying atop the UK charts for a record-breaking 16 consecutive weeks.
Adams would find himself back at the top of the charts not long after with yet another theme song from a film: All For One, a collaboration with Sting and Rod Stewart taken from the film The Three Musketeers. Adams’ status as the flavour of the week for movie songs earned him yet another hit single in 1995’s Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman? from Don Juan De Marco.
After a five-year gap between albums, Adams returned with 1996’s 18 Til I Die. While the album didn’t yield any hits on the scale of its predecessor, Adams was back near the top of the charts in 1998 with When You’re Gone, a duet with former Spice Girl Melanie C.
The new millennium found Adams still a reliable draw at home and abroad, scoring three No.1 albums in Canada and two No.2 albums in the UK. Following the covers album, Tracks Of My Tears, and the Jeff Lynne-produced Get Up, Adams released Shine A Light, his 14th studio album, in 2019, followed by So Happy It Hurts in 2022, which topped the UK Independent Album Charts and earned a Grammy nomination for its lead single.
In 2024, Adams announced a new album and a new world tour, bringing Roll With The Punches to UK arenas in May 2025.

The venue - Piece Hall in Halifax is located pretty near to the train station. What a stunning venue too! Great balcony, small. Bryan Adams did not disappoint- great vocals, superb set list, fab interaction with the crowd and overall rocked the night away!! Will book again that's for sure
Haven't seen Bryan Adams for over 30 years . He came to the Piece hall in Halifax which is a great outdoor venue, and very well organised. The Sun shining obviously makes a difference. I do a lot of gigs and Bryan Adams was really excellent, hence the review, which I don't usually do. 2 hours of great music, he really enjoys himself and was very very good.
Entry quick through security procedure, then all stop until entry into the actual venue. Everything else seemless. Bryan Adams and band one of the best live acts out there
Brilliant event ticking was great and Bryan Adam's was fabulous
Some great acts playing at the Peice Hall this year and this one was no exception, absolutely brilliant night watching the Groover from Vancouver, one not to be missed.
I thought everything about this gig was excellent. There were two support acts and both were great, well worth listening to, but Brian Adams took it up to a whole new level. The set list was superb, and both he and the band were on top form. All very enjoyable
This was a fantastic night I raised my son listening to Bryan Adam's and took him for his 39 th birthday he loved it said it was the second best he'd ever seen he loves his fans and I would go again brilliant night
From the moment he walked on stage to the last note he was engaging, exciting, on tune, funny and banged out hit after hit as well as some of his great new album, what a show, would defo love to see him and the band again soon ! However, the exiting of the venue (Dalby Forest) was total chaos and took over 1hr 40 mins , the marshals had no idea what they were doing and it was just free for all. Sorry Dalby as it was a great setting/arena, my advice would be not to take your car or go on a coach. Bryan and the band were so so good !
I've just got home from seeing Bryan at the Piece Hall in Halifax, it was easily one of the best gigs I've seen. Bryan played a mixture of old and new and he came across so relaxed. Both him and his band were brilliant and the venue is perfect for gigs. I hope Bryan will return to Halifax again soon.
Bryan Adams rocked the forest! We danced the night away. The only issue we had was getting into the venue as it took us nearly 90 minutes to get from the entrance to the parking area. We had paid for the parking, but no checks of our tickets were made, so I wondered if many others just turned up on the night. We only just made it to hear the main act, missed both support acts.
This was brilliant. Well organised. He was a superb act
Lovely setting Well organised Greats band/singers Great atmosphere Only issue no signal for setting satnav/google maps for home journey.
Brilliant show by Bryan Adams. Memorable. Supporting acts not so good. With the dreadful delay in traffic departing Dalby Forest I recommend Bryan or other main acts starting earlier. A 3 hour departure makes for a very late night. Just start it earlier pls.
First time I saw Bryan was at Halifax rugby ground with friends l needed toilet and the disabled toilet was very close to Bryan's dressing room, so my friend and I went back to our seats and enjoyed telling our friends we had been chatting to Bryan obviously we didn't even see him. On stage he had very big blow up legs with think stockings on and various underwear, to go with the song The Only Thing That Looks Good on Me is You over two hours of nonstop fantastic music, on way out called at toilet and I asked security if I could have the sign from Bryan's sign on dressing room door which he took from the door for me. On way home in car saw our friends in their car so held the sign BRYAN ADAMS they asked how I was allowed to get it, just said I had asked security. Saw him couple of times at Sheffield and last time was at Leeds Arena. Really wanted to see him again this year but couldn't get wheelchair space seats and after being quite ill rushed into hospital having lots of tests, blood tests and MRI & CT Scans I was diagnosed with sepsis l was so ill didn't know which hospital l was in until two days before being discharged. So from July to my daughter's wedding on 5th August last year I have never felt so ill. My grandsons were told I was so ill I might not get home. My husband stayed with me constantly it has taken months to start feeling better. Then found that the lovely talented Bryan was on tour in UK I lost count of how many times I had tried to book tickets for myself in wheelchair space but no luck seats all gone, just need to keep trying. Anyone never seen Bryan his shows are unbelievable he is on stage for well over two hours, his voice is so good and his music is amazing, I once took my daughter to the arena in Leeds to see a favourite female singer, to say we were disappointed wasn't enough, she was late arriving by over an hour and , had lots of costume changes, leaving large gaps with backing bands entertaining, I did say to my daughter that I was disappointed but so was she, after paying such high price for the tickets, would never want to see her in concert again. So I would say to anyone if you get the chance to see Bryan go and hear him singing playing his various guitars put heart and soul into entertaining his fans.
Brilliant show and venue. No hassle at toilets or food places. The weather was warm. The only downer was it took 2hrs to get in from Thornton le Dale and 2 hrs to get back out of the forest.
Fantástic concert and organization. I'll be back sure for other concert.
Brilliant experience, Bryan Adams is still rocking and amazing! Been over 30 yrs since I last saw him , he didn't disappoint! The venue , Dalby Forest , gorgeous, and sound was amazing . Few people complaining about car parking, and getting out after the concert , but, I expected it wasn't going to a 10 minute exit ! Hundreds of cars in a forest clearing , exiting on small country roads , really ! Stop moaning , I've had worse on motorways 🙄 was worth every minute driving there and back for the concert ! Bryan Adams, keep rocking , and come back next year !
Bryan Adams was just simply amazing , Fantastic as always, & the venue was great, particularly on a nice warm sunny evening. Only downside was queing to get into the venue by car for well over an hour, poor disorganisation. Even worse, getting out if the venue, over one a half hours. The event organisers seriously need to get there act together, it was chaos.
fantastic concert, booked in the glade which wasnt xheap.but great view and.atmosphere
