The multi platinum-selling Canadian rocker tours the UK in 2025
For most people, a No.1 hit like (Everything I Do) I Do It For You would define their entire career. For Canadian rocker Bryan Adams, it’s possibly not even his most popular song.
Pre-worldwide chart domination with the theme song from Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves, Adams was already a stadium-packing megastar, no small thanks to a string of radio-friendly hits including Run To You, Heaven and Summer Of ’69.
Adams got his start as a 15-year-old, fronting the Canadian rock band Sweeney Todd. Following his departure from the band, he formed a songwriting partnership with former Prism drummer Jim Vallance, leading to his self-titled debut in early 1980. You Want It You Got It followed a year later and saw Adams begin to make a dent on the charts.
That progress was solidified in some style in 1983 with Cuts Like A Knife, bagging Adams his first top ten hit in the US with Straight From The Heart. A year later, Adams topped the album charts in both Canada and the US with his fourth solo album Reckless, egged on by a string of high charting singles, including the No.1 Heaven and two further top ten hits in Run To You and Summer Of ’69. Reckless also featured It’s Only Love, a duet with Tina Turner that was nominated for a Grammy.
Adams’ purple patch continued with Into The Fire, which again charted highly at home and abroad and yielded another top ten single in Heat Of The Night.
All of this would pale in comparison to the Adams’ flying start to the next decade, particularly (Everything I Do) I Do It For You, the first single taken from his 1991 album Waking Up The Neighbours. Thanks to its prominence in the hit film Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves, the single was a resounding success, hitting No.1 across the world and staying atop the UK charts for a record-breaking 16 consecutive weeks.
Adams would find himself back at the top of the charts not long after with yet another theme song from a film: All For One, a collaboration with Sting and Rod Stewart taken from the film The Three Musketeers. Adams’ status as the flavour of the week for movie songs earned him yet another hit single in 1995’s Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman? from Don Juan De Marco.
After a five-year gap between albums, Adams returned with 1996’s 18 Til I Die. While the album didn’t yield any hits on the scale of its predecessor, Adams was back near the top of the charts in 1998 with When You’re Gone, a duet with former Spice Girl Melanie C.
The new millennium found Adams still a reliable draw at home and abroad, scoring three No.1 albums in Canada and two No.2 albums in the UK. Following the covers album, Tracks Of My Tears, and the Jeff Lynne-produced Get Up, Adams released Shine A Light, his 14th studio album, in 2019, followed by So Happy It Hurts in 2022, which topped the UK Independent Album Charts and earned a Grammy nomination for its lead single.
In 2024, Adams announced a new album and a new world tour, bringing Roll With The Punches to UK arenas in May 2025.

Bryan Adams gave an outstanding performance last night at Glasgow Hydro. His voice is asgood as ever,Loved the kilt
Bryan Adams and his band where absolutely fantastic! What a great performer and he has an incredible voice! Loved every second of his show and he definitely looks good in a kilt. If you not seen Bryan Adams live , you really should! Fantastic!! Sxx ⭐️❤️💕🏴🎸🎵🎶🎙
Fabulous show from Bryan Adam's and his fantastic band! All the big hits and a few surprises along the way. His voice is still great and he captures the audience easily. Brilliant!!!
Another fantastic performance from Bryan Adams, Keith Scott and the band. The Hydro was well and truly rocking! Loved every minute and can't wait until he's back again. The Sky Lounge with fast track entry and nice bar was an added bonus.
I think one his best gigs ever and his gigs are always fantastic
Great night out, 4th time Seeing Bryan and the band at the Hydro, 1st time with junior 12, we all had a great time, really liked the personalisation to this time round, some non Adams songs to Proclaimers/Andy williams etc plus Bryan and band sporting Kilts, Slight let down was we were in at the very back and previous 3 screen options we down to 1 main screen (3 was better) seat position was my fault 331, will just have to get in earlier next time. As always Bryan was awesome. Thanks se you next time
An amazing experience and brilliant venue. We've been there a few times now and it never disappoints. You can always have a great view of the show/ concert.
Show was excellent from start to finish. He always puts on a great show and last night was no exception. Played non stop for 2hrs 20 minutes with no support which was nice to see as its him who you want and pay to see. Wen ate at the Clydebuilt bar at the SECC prior to the show and the food was lovely but not a great choice of food and was a little expensive for what it was. We also had to wait a bit of time for the food to arrive.
Fantastic gig! Bryan was as brilliant as ever. His voice is still fantastically strong. His backing band were all excellent. Totally enjoyed and rocked out the evening!
Bryan brilliant as usual Arena far to expensive need to be looked at also tickets too dear
Was a bit worried before the concert started if I would know half the tracks, after last seeing Bryan 25 years ago. I am happy to report apart from 2 or 3 I knew all the tracks. Bryan plays to his audience and knows what they want. It was great to see Bryan and 3 other members of the band on stage just playing their hearts out. Overall a brilliant concert from a great artist.
Absolutely brilliant night with a rock legend Same great voice You can tell he loves the crowds with coming to back of auditorium and singing so all at back can see their idol
Bryan Adams has been around a long time as he mentioned he is 66!! Well he is getting better and better. The sound, songs and atmosphere in Manchester last night were all outstanding. The song list mixed classics with new songs and Adams had the crowd eating out of his hands. No support and he played for around 2 and a half hours non stop. A real must to see a proper rock concert from four guys who give their all - outstanding
Absolutely brilliant, one of the best concerts I've ever been to, would go again tomorrow if I could.
Probably my 20th BA concert since 1987. And that started at the MEN in Manchester too. Standing room only, as you can't sit for his type of shows, even though my knees are starting to ache at my age, but his music reminds me that I am "18 till I die". Even the wife agrees on that one. Last night's concert was a good mix of young and old, the songs belted out and the tunes rocked, everyone was there for a great time and it didn't disappoint. One of the standout things I noticed, was the phones - or lack of them. Sometimes at other concerts phones will be there from start to finish which is so annoying BUT I did notice phone photos taken then put away, it was a rock concert after all. I'm old school, I prefer no phones at all and just enjoy the experience, either way, everyone enjoyed themselves and that was the main thing. Until the next time.....
Great value for money 2.25 hours of Bryan Adams. Amazing artist either way a fantastic band. We loved it. ❤️
Absolutely amazing, his voice is still as incredible as it was 'back in the day'
Honestly one of the best live acts I've seen in my life, and I've seen a lot. Bryan and his band just keep getting better as the years go on! 5* would recommend to anyone! Can't wait for May '25!
Bryan Adams was great - nuff said Completely missed the support acts due to the 1hour 45 minute queue to get parked. getting out was just as bad - almost 2 hours from the car park to the road meant that we didn't get home until 2.30 am when it was already starting to get light. Never going to a gig in the forest again
Super concert, music was fabulous, venue perfect, a wonderful evening.
