  • Disappointed concert in Belfast SSE Arena.

by Iaan on 24/11/2024Rating: 1 out of 5

Unfortunately I am very disappointed with this concert. UB40 played only new songs from the latest UB45 album for 1.5 hours, which is very weak. The only two classics known from the 80s were played for a forced encore. I saw many people leaving the stands after 60 minutes of the concert and never came back. Waste of money and time. They let me down very much.

  • Fantastic Night at the Arena

    by Mala14 on 22/11/2024Motorpoint Arena Nottingham - NottinghamRating: 5 out of 5

This was a superb performance by UB40 they performed many of their classic tracks and really interacted with the audience. The new material was also excellent and I would recommend any true fan to book now for future gigs

  • Fantastic evening! Didn't disappoint!

by Foxfire on 16/11/2024Rating: 5 out of 5

What a show! So slick and you could tell everyone was loving being up there. Matt fits right in and totally smashed it! The crowd went wild with the old songs and the new material is great! Great venue too (Leeds Arena)! Already looking for more tickets! Thanks for a great evening!

  • Brilliant

UB40 never disappoint, such a hardworking group. Love all the music they played, l am mid 60's, so enjoy the older stuff. I knew Jimmy Brown's Mum and Sister just before the mid seventies before UB40 and have been a fan ever since they started selling records. Perfect showmen, love their style. Great evening. Venue easy to get to from Resort's World

  • Amazing , cant wait to see them again

  • Not good

    by tk12 on 10/11/2024Utilita Arena Cardiff - CardiffRating: 2 out of 5

The entertainment started well with an unexpected band, the evening, the music quality and the venue became progressively worse as the evening went on with us eventually giving up and leaving at 9.30pm. There were a number of issues within the audience around us, several people around us also left.

  • Ub40 fabulous

  • Great bands but....

by FISH on 08/11/2024Utilita Arena Cardiff - CardiffRating: 3 out of 5

Young culture and Soul II Soul- sound quality was very poor. Much better for UB40. Poor management of crowd areas. Congestion inside hall in some areas. Overall grading for gig a 6 out of 10. Should have been 10. Utilita Cardiff not so good..

  • Brilliant night

  • Amazing evening

by Shazza on 08/11/2024Utilita Arena Cardiff - CardiffRating: 5 out of 5

Bought tickets as UB40 was my favourite band in my younger days, was not aware Ali had split from the band until speaking to someone at the concert, felt a bit concerned that they would not be the same without Ali, but as soon as they came on and started singing with the new lead singer it brought back my teenage days. He was amazing fitted in well with the band and sounded so much like Ali in his younger days. Was not disappointed at all as the band themselves was all UB40 and its everyone that makes the band so amazing not just one person. They did well in picking Matt as the new lead vocalist loved the evening.

  • Great live... 👍

  • Worst concert ever!

by Mel on 03/11/2024OVO Arena, Wembley - LondonRating: 1 out of 5

This was sold to us as the true UB40 with Ali and he wasn't there. Looking around at other concert attendees, I've never seen such a bored amount of faces !! If I could leave a zero star rating I would have! We left along with hundreds if not thousands of others before the concert finished. We went to the desk to complain where there was a queue of others in the same position, to be given a hand written slip of paper with an email address to complain.

  • UB40

by Georgie on 02/11/2024OVO Arena, Wembley - LondonRating: 5 out of 5

Wow, was absolutely brilliant. Slightly sceptical due to there being no Ali Campbell however did not need to be was amazing

  • Amazing

by Claire on 02/11/2024OVO Arena, Wembley - LondonRating: 5 out of 5

They were amazing once out on stage couldn't fault them at all amazing night. The only down side was they come out on stage late but even so well worth it and soul to soul was amazing to. Can't believe it's been 45 years for UB40 I was 3 years old they have certainly been my childhood and adulthood memories. Best night thank you guys

  • Better than expected...

by Steve R Claygate on 02/11/2024OVO Arena, Wembley - LondonRating: 4 out of 5

Soul to Soul worked well as the warm up Band and apart from a young girl who insisted on dancing and blocking our view ( no Stewards in N Block ), it was an enjoyable Concert!

  • Diabolical

by KP on 02/11/2024OVO Arena, Wembley - LondonRating: 1 out of 5

I was so disappointed, it felt more like a poor expensive tribute act. I left early, I feel robbed. The sound quality was awful, the atmosphere was non existent. Despite what anyone says, Ali Campbell makes UB40, you cannot recreate his vocals. Soul II Soul was good though. I wouldn't recommend wasting your money.

  • Amazing
