Fantastic evening…always a magical experience at a Sweet Gig…seamless entry to venue excellent facilities within the venue….staff were giving out drinks of water to everyone close to the stage, as this made it difficult to get to the bar without losing your premium view…The Concert was amazing the sound perfect only one complaint…..it had to end!!! I would most definitely visit O2 Shepherds Bush Empire again..

  • Sweet rocked!

I'd been waiting a while to see Sweet at a seated venue, as standing isn't great when you're a pensioner! Upstairs at the SBE, we obtained great seats upstairs. The support act was TRextasy, who apparently are highly rated but I've seen a better TRex tribute group (Too Rex). Sweet however were brilliant. Their performance rocked, although Andy Scott stepped out for a "rest" while the remaining band played a medley of the early pop stuff. A good singalong all the same. Glad to hear some heavier tracks from their past, like Set Me Free and two from the new album went down well too. I've seen them several times before but they are at the peak, post the original four members. One last word, special mention to the stewards, who kept "filmers" away from blocking the view from us. The odd snap is fine but to stand there and record a song is selfish, especially if you've not paid to be there. Great night.

  • Excellent greatest hits show

Excellent sound and performance of classic hits. Blockbuster, Fox on The Run and Ballroom Blitz sounded particularly great.

  • A decent show.

I was very disappointed to discover on the night that remaining Sweet member Andy Scott was not appearing. The venue is dreadful. No toilets on the same level as the stage area. Up and down stairs is a nuisance. The band performed well and, of course, Sweet has strength in depth in terms of repetoire. All the big hits as well as some lesser known oldies and some good songs from the new album - I'll buy it. All in all a good night out and I'd see them again without doubt …. even without Andy Scott.
