Midge Ure has shape shifted his way through the UK music scene for 35+ years.

From prototype boy band with Slik, through electronic pioneer with Visage, rock guitarist with Thin Lizzy, chart topper with Ultravox and his solo career, to charity fund raiser with Band Aid.

Ure has adapted to the ebb and flow of his career performing with large bands, 3 piece power trio’s, and his solo acoustic shows with which he sticks to his mantra that a good song can be stripped down to its basics and still stand close inspection.

    Second time seeing Midge Ure at Sheffield City Hall, he was amazing & had everyone on their feet dancing & singing. Amazing nights, can't wait to see him hopefully next year for his 40th year.

    A wonderful gig, full of nostalgia, fronted by an absolute legend. Despite having flu Midge Ure knocked out a whole catalogue of his hits from classic Ultravox to a few surprise songs from the Rich Kids era, through Visage and Thin Lizzy. We were up and dancing, and loving the singalongs.

    Fantastic concert in Sheffield. Midge is amazing, every single time I see him and bless him, he had a cold last night and still sounded brilliant. The whole band are so talented and full of energy. Honestly we had tears in our eyes, the atmosphere and sound was so great. Fab time, can't wait for the next time.

    Flawless and what a performer. Classic songs performed by an artist at his peak. I have not seen a performance with such quality by someone supposed to be at the twilight of a career for a long time. Go Midge..
