Busted and McFly go head to head
Pop rock legends Busted stormed the stage at McFly’s sold out 21st birthday headline show at the iconic O2 Arena in London to announce they will be going head to head on tour together in 2025!
The Busted vs McFly Tour will see the two groups visit some of the UK’s biggest and best venues.
Speaking of the tour, McFly threw down the gauntlet and commented: “Busted gatecrashed our show last night (not cool), and challenged us to a VS tour next year. They’re old men now, and we are gonna blow them and their carers off the stage next year. We’ve had a great time celebrating our 21st birthday this week and next year is going to be even better - P.S Busted Suck."
Busted fought back and added: "There’s been a lot of talk recently…. This is where the talking ends….! We are ready to show who is the better band once and for all. McFly suck and Busted Rock!"
It’s been over 20 years since both band’s formed and they are still two of the most loved and successful British bands, inspiring many other artists over the past few decades.
Busted burst into the charts with their debut single ‘What I Go To School For,’ leading to hits like ‘Crashed The Wedding,’ ‘Year 3000,’ and ‘Air Hostess.’ Their 2023 album ‘Greatest Hits 2.0’ hit #1, 21 years after their debut. With three albums peaking at #2, 4.5 million sales, and two BRIT Awards, they’ve sold over 2 million tickets across multiple sold-out tours.
McFly’s 21-year journey began with ‘Five Colours In Her Hair,’ leading to seven #1 singles, 10 million sales, and a BRIT Award. Their latest album ‘Power To Play’ hit #2, and they celebrated their anniversary with sold-out shows, including two at the O2 Arena.
What a fantastic concert and experience. Such an uplifting evening. Best time I've had in a long while!!
Busted and mcfly where amazing love every second of it xx
Very entertaining! Both bands were excellent live! All the hits. Highly recommend 😀
Absolutely loved the whole experience, went bonfire night at Manchester co-op live with amp club tickets. Brilliant night from start to finish, got to see my two favourite bands at the same time which has been a childhood dream of mine. Hope they go on tour again because I will be there 💕
I can honestly say this concert was amazing. Exceeded my expectations. I am team mcfly but busted smashed it as well. I am already hoping they tour again 🙏
What a fantastically fun concert we loved it both bands are such talented musicians and were so entertaining it was such fun singing along to the songs the atmosphere was electric. They obviously were having the best time. We absolutely loved it.
Excellent show, only criticism was a lot of swearing and there were a lot of children there
Amazing experience, 1st time at the co-op live has somewhere to have a drink before entering the concert. Also once inside lots of eating places and bars to access and quick entry too Lots of workers to help seat/ allocate to the right place overall amazing
Honestly loved it My niece came with me and she enjoyed herself We had the best night of our lives Would of been better though if someone could help get gifts off guests in the standing areas up to the stage for the performers
Went to see them on Halloween, it was amazing! Both set separately and then combining to make a phenomenal show. Definitely want to go again, thank you McFly and Busted 💛❤️
