  • Wow, what a show.

12th September 2025. Great production from start to finish. Acting good throughout the show plus fantastic singers too with a great backing band on stage. My pick of the night was the actress who played Margaret Thatcher & was funny at times with her expressions plus some funny quips. The rest of the cast surpassed themselves too & the production put together with the songs blending in with the storyline. There were also a few poignant moments when individuals were putting over the Ethiopian hunger & people dying because of the lack of food. Also the problems getting food, medicines etc into Ethiopia. All In all a show that we enjoyed in both aspects of the storyline with the sadness of the situation, then the story of making the record & Live Aid being put together. Well done everyone involved from cast to directors. Bob McPherson.

Brilliant from start to finish. Great cast & talented singers with a very good group of musicians on stage. This musical was well presented with the storyline of Live Aid & the songs matched seamlessly. Highlighted the problems of starvation & dying of Ethiopians plus the problems of getting aid, food, medicine etc into the country. Some very moving points at times through the show that had the audience sitting quietly taking in the significance of that time in the 80's. Some laughs too during the musical especially for me with the actress playing Margaret Thatcher standing out, though all the cast were very good during the performance. Would recommend people going to see this show as it has been a very good performance. Friday 12th September 2025.
