  • A worthy tribute to ELO

It was our second time to see ELO AGAIN at Branstaple's Queens threatre. The whole band are absolutely fabulous. Wonderful to hear the best music of ELO performed so brilliantly. The two women on the strings were amazing and gave stunning solos. The violinist sings beautifully too. I would strongly recommend anyone who enjoys the music of ELO to see them when they get a chance. You will not be disappointed.

  • Excellent performance

Very enjoyable evening. Great performance from beginning to end. Having sat through a cracking first half with hit after hit I was wondering what they'd left for the second half. There were a few songs I didn't recognise but were equally enjoyable but then again more hits that I'd forgotten about but then instantly remembered from the opening notes of the songs. All that and then 2 more classics performed during the encore. Would highly recommend seeing them if you get the chance.

  • Very average

by Malc on 24/01/2025Sheffield City Hall Oval Hall - SheffieldRating: 2 out of 5

Unfortunately the sound was very poor. There was a clear problem with the Bass drum sound which got gradually better throughout the night but I would say it wasn't until the last two songs that the sound engineer got their act together. As a result of this, it was very difficult to hear the vocals. Backing harmonies were weak, definitely nowhere near ELO's standard. Both keyboard players looked like they didn't want to be there. Very poor light show for an ELO tribute. It looked like they were using the venues standard lighting. I wonder if they have ever watched ELO. The show is a major part of it! Disappointing.

Thank you all for a fabulous night, so talented, my dad loved ELO he would have enjoyed the night too, as soon as I hear the music took me back-happy memories. I just love transitional bands with real musicians just can't beat it, amazing singing, guitar playing and drums. Well done good luck on tour. ❤️

An absolutely fantastic show, one of the best tribute acts ever. Sang all my favourite songs, all the hits. Really well worth going to see them. Thoroughly enjoyed the night, thank you.

  • Excellent

The music was amazingly like the original band although at times was a little too loud & overpowered the lead singers voice. It did not spoil our enjoyment of an excellent concert though. Our only criticism is the way the time of the concert was advertised- we turned up at 5.45pm & could not get access to the Arena!! We weren't the only ones who expected the concert to start at 6.30pm- we thought it a little unusual but double checked the e mails we received & honestly thought the concert was 6.30 to 9.30 with a break halfway. We spent £40 per couple "killing time" until the doors opened! Just a "heads up" to anyone else attending at another venue.

  • Great show

by Ju on 15/09/2024Utilita Arena Cardiff - CardiffRating: 4 out of 5

The show in Cardiff last night was great. The band where fab. My only criticism is that the sound was not great for those on the sides. I was 4 rows from the front and felt like the main singers voice needed to be a little higher as it was difficult to hear at times. I have a disability and use the venue regularly. Staff are great and usually we are escorted to an upper floor. However last night it was explained that the event should have been in St David's hall so much smaller. Therefore we had to sit downstairs. Like I said earlier I was taken to great seats but due to my illness I was unable to sit there for the 2nd half. A member of staff kindly got us chairs with others that had disabilities. Unfortunately the sound wasn't great at all.
