Chesterfield FC Tickets

Chesterfield FC’s official birthdate is 1866, making it the fourth oldest professional football club in England.

At one time known as ‘Chesterfield Town’, the current ‘Chesterfield Football Club’ was formed in 1919 by Chesterfield Borough Council.

The club has spent most of its history in the Football League. A six-year spell in the National League ended with a title win in the 2023/24 season.

After playing at the Recreation Ground, known as ‘Saltergate’, from 1871, Chesterfield relocated to a new home in 2010, currently called the SMH Group Stadium.
