  • A magical weekend in 2025 roll on 2026.

I'm born and bred in Dundee, I have never been so proud in my life as I was at 80s Festival 2025. I almost missed it because people were going on about no seating I'm disabled and there's no way I could stand for any time, but thought I'll go see how long I'd last. Lo and behold there were seats, plenty of them, the barrier between the gold circle area and the general ticket had seats lined from start to finish. There was also a disabled area which was full of seats. All through both days I was there the whole team couldn't do enough for you. They were giving out blankets to sit on grass. There's also loads of seating around the whole venue benches stone walls. I have absolutely no qualms about booking again for next year. Every member of staff went above and beyond helping in any way they could. There's so many to mention but Danny was amazing helped me out a lot he sorted my tickets I'd got a new phone couldn't find anything on it he found all my tickets sorted seating for myself and friend. There was the guys on the private bar and toilets the staff on the gates were brilliant it was running late and they kept us entertained while we were waiting. There was my favourite his name has escaped me just now but he made sure I was ok, as it got later told me to put my coat on didn't want me catching a cold, That's service. I had the pleasure of meeting Liz Hobbs herself what a lovely lady, I explained I wasn't going to attend because of seating situation but was so glad I did. Liz was a top athlete olympic medalist until she had a very serious accident and said she wouldn't want anyone to do anything she couldn't do her self, she went around a lot of people making sure we were ok. I recommend this weekend to anyone. I'm lucky I stay in Dundee but people were coming from all over the atmosphere was amazing, everyone joined in with the acts who were unbelievably brilliant Saturdays line up just kept giving there was Toyah, Carol Decker and of course the wonderful Clare Grogan they were out of this world, so many more acts too many to mention. Tom Jones support acts on the Sunday were to die for Ward Thomas had another gig in Dundee sadly it was sold out so didn't get to that one. Of Course Sir Tom didn't disappoint he was amazing even though he was unwell. I'm definitely going next year the line up looks amazing. Thank you to ever who made my first ever festival very special.
