The chart-topping Las Vegas rockers announce 2024 UK dates
The Killers' 2004 debut Hot Fuss immediately propelled the Las Vegas synth-infused indie rockers into the mainstream. Celebrating multiple platinum status across much of the globe and hitting the No.1 spot on the UK album chart, the record spawned a quartet of huge singles, not least the timeless 'Mr Brightside'. For years following the release, the track would continue to dominate streaming and downloading platforms, and quickly established itself as a staple on dance-floors around the world.
Hot Fuss arrived just two years after The Killers' formation, when vocalist Brandon Flowers responded to an advert penned by guitarist David Kuening. The first track they wrote together was 'Mr Brightside'. Soon after bassist Mark Stoermer and drummer Ronnie Vannucci joined â and Flowers' former group Blush Response disbanded â the band began playing local Las Vegas venues.
Among its many accolades, their debut album secured The Killers five Grammy nominations. The record's four singles â 'Somebody Told Me', 'Smile Like You Mean It', 'All These Things That I've Done' and 'Mr Brightside' â became global smash hits, and after touring the record across the world, The Killers quickly began work on their follow-up. Setting up shop in Las Vegas' brand new Studio At The Palms with prolific producers Flood and Alan Moulder, the group began to inject Americana influences into their sound for 2006's Sam's Town.
Citing Bruce Springsteen as a major influence, Flowers and his bandmates secured another two Grammy nominations before dropping Sawdust - a relatively early B-side and rarity collection. It laid the path for 2008's Day & Age, a record that mixed more overt pop influences with the Americana of Sam's Town and the glitz of Hot Fuss. Lead single 'Human' immediately showcased this new refined sound, crafted with the help of Madonna and Gwen Stefani producer Stuart Price.
Following Day & Age, the band took a break to focus on individual projects. It would be three years until they teamed up again, reuniting with Price and a veritable who's-who of top producers for 2012's Battle Born. The album became the band's fourth consecutive UK No.1 record, led by the single 'Runaways'. A greatest hits compilation followed a year later, including new tracks 'Shot At Night' and 'Just Another Girl'.
Thirteen years after the release of their Hot Fuss debut, The Killers would hit the No.1 spot on the US chart for the first time with 2017's Wonderful Wonderful. The record also continued their feat of topping the UK chart with each release. Following the album, founding members Stoermer and Keuning took a step back, with Flowers and Vannucci teaming up with touring musicians for the subsequent global run.
By their sixth album, 2020's Imploding The Mirage, The Killers had become a loose duo. After initially scrapping six months worth of material, the pair enlisted a plethora of special guests, including k.d. lang, Foxygen's Jonathan Rado, War On Drugs' Adam Granduciel, Natalie Mering of Weyes Blood and Fleetwood Mac's Lindsey Buckingham.
In early March 2021, The Killers announced the UK dates of their huge Imploding The Mirage Tour were being rescheduled to summer 2022, with an extra show added at Falkirk Stadium.
Almost exactly a year after releasing Imploding The Mirage, they unveiled their seventh album, Pressure Machine, in August 2021 featuring the collaborative track 'Runaway Horses' with Phoebe Bridgers.
In December 2023, ahead of the release of new compilation album Rebel Diamonds, The Killers announced shows for summer 2024 in Dublin, Manchester, Glasgow and London.

Great venue. Brilliant sound and effects, and the fantastic Killers.
The killers were great but the coop live arena is a let down. The AO Arena is so much better situated for all the restaurants and train station
The Killers were absolutely brilliant. The stage show with lasers and paper/streamer cannons were great choice of songs were class
Venue , first time going to Co op live , lots of staff to ask for help. Great venue đ Travis support , I had forgotten how good they were. The Killers , Amazing show đ Brandon is a fabulous showman, so much energy and vocals perfection. They were so good . đ
Excellent ,professional, jaw dropping entertainment. Fabulous show in a really good arena. Travis weren't too bad either. Only problem, took over an hour to get out of car park đ¤¨
Brilliant nite seeing The Killers ⌠Travis were great support act. Co op live arena really good and organised and big thumbs up to Manchester transport for excellent tram services and all the staff for being so friendly and Ticketmaster for good communications
First visit to CoOp live and surprised it didn't feel crowded given the capacity. The Killers gave a brilliant performance as always but as someone who has seen them more than 12 times this was a disappointing set list. No Jenny, Dustland, Spaceman or The Man. Played these the night before so gutted they decided to change setlists for second night in Manchester. A letdown.
First time at Coop live in Manchester, as a disabled fan I was really impressed with the accessibility of the place, best place by a country mile for access. Staff were amazing, very helpful. Only down side was only 1 disabled toilet on our side, no bin and hand drier broken, the beer prices are rediculous as well, 3 quid for water, get a grip.
This was my 3rd Killers Concert and the previous 2 concerts were excellent. Having been to the new arena a few weeks ago to see the Eagles , I thought the acoustics were excellent as was the sound mix.... you could hear every harmony and instrumental solo clearly. Last night I arrived halfway through the Travis set and the acoustics and sound mix were very good. So I expected even better when the Killers arrived. The Killers are a loud band, but quality and balance shouldn't be sacrificed for volume. All the big numbers were ruined by a disastrous sound mix.... at times it resembled a really bad thrash metal band! The sound engineers let the musicians down badly.... you couldn't hear any of the guitar solo work clearly, the backing vocals were drowned out.... I struggled to hear any of the instrumental backings, often there was no discernable chord progressions just a wall of distorted noise. When you pay top dollar for a ticket you except a quality sound and the engineers let the musicians down. I went on the Wednesday night gig and was sat stage left third tier near the front. I'd be interested to see if anyone else thought the same. It's a poor show when the supporting act had a better sound mix than the Killers.
As expected, a slick performance from The Killers. Lightshows, pyrotechnics explosions all added to the great party atmosphere as Brandon said, "It might be Wednesday evening outside but in here it's Saturday night!" A top, top live band, performing at the top of their game as usual.
One of the best gigs ever!! Not only were both bands awesome but it was really well organised and the venue great
I know it's not great to be negative and Brandon Flowers is the ultimate showman and did a great job but I only felt the need to get on my feet for a handful of songs. There seemed to be lots of tracks I had never heard or maybe they passed me by. What a shame he didn't mix the set with some tunes from his solo work. Overall I am pleased I saw them live as they are excellent but it was an expensive 'average' experience and definitely a one off.
Venue is great , we had standing tickets but even the lower tier seated to the side of the stage were very close to the action. I checked the set list for the previous night and The Killers changed it up for the night we were there. Unfortunately in my opinion not for the better , too many slow songs and missed out some great ones like The Man. Left feeling a little disappointed as the up tempo songs were awesome and they were performed brilliantly but the performance was dragged down by far too much slow stuff.
This was the first time at the new venue and it is very good great atmosphere and a good temperature throughout the night. The bar prices were steeper than expected. The sound from both The Killers and Travis was great. Travis were also really happy when they heard that Scotland had scored. The Killers were brilliant from start to finish. They made thing about the night was the 1 hour wait coming out if the Orange car park. Badley managed and needs looking at urgently
The venue was simple and easy to commute to and from the catering was good. The Killers were fantastic also Travis were great had a wonderful evening experience.
On my bucket list did not disappoint they were absolutely fantastic enjoyed ever second Travis also fabulous 2 great artists under one roof
Only knew a few Killers songs when I arrived.. but the experience and venue made this a brilliant gigâŚ
Sensational night, Great venue (besides the crazy bar prices). As for the band... WOW. Great show, already waiting for the next tour.
Seen the killers 5 times and they do t disappoint, show was out of this world.
Great show, excellent live band. Played a mixture of new and old. Loved the fact Travis was supporting
