Welcome 2026 in style at the Mayor of London’s New Year’s Eve Fireworks. It’s set to be a night of unmissable moments, and it is one of the biggest celebrations of its kind in the world. More details on ticketed viewing areas and their arrival routes can be found on the Mayor of London's website here or in the Ticketing information listed below. Many bridges will be closed for traffic and pedestrians and you won’t be allowed to cross them before or after the event. You will see details of each viewing area’s entrance points, which are the only entrances you can use on the night. Stations will be very busy when the event ends and you may need to walk further than usual before you can get on buses, trains or the underground. Photo ID you can use

As the main ticket buyer, you may be asked to show photo ID that matches the name printed on your group’s tickets to get in.

The best forms of photo ID are your passport or photo driving license, or a good quality photocopy of either of these. If you don’t have either, stewards on the entry gates will decide whether to accept your alternative photo ID.

Bringing children under 16

As a late night and crowded, outdoor event, we strongly recommend you do not bring young children. Any under 16s who do attend must be with an adult. Everyone, whatever their age, must have a ticket to get in.

But, in London, there are hundreds of ways to celebrate. Find out what’s on offer and plan your night.

Transport in London on NYE will be much busier than usual and your travel plans may be affected. Plan your journey in advance.
