About

Manchester indie pop band endorsed by Tom Jones, Noel Gallagher and Nickelback

Lottery Winners' ability to energise any crowd is highlighted by the eclectic range of artists they’ve supported in arenas, including Tom Jones, Rick Astley, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Nickelback.

After signing to Modern Sky UK in 2019, having toured independently and released a string of singles throughout the 2010s, the group released their self-titled first album in 2020. Their sophomore record, Something To Leave The House For, arrived in 2021. The group's third album, Anxiety Replacement Therapy, was released in 2023 and went to No.1 in the UK.

In 2024, the group announced their fourth studio album, KOKO, set for release in February 2025. "KOKO was born out of a lot of self-reflection," says singer and guitarist Thom Rylance. "I don’t find it easy to look at myself, and the things that I’ve done, but I wanted to explore everything from my undiagnosed ADHD childhood, my first ever panic attack, my toxic relationships, bereavement and heartbreak. The album is almost a My Name is Earl style apology to myself and my loved ones, and despite the themes being a little grey, it’s somehow a very colourful album."

In 2025, the band supported Robbie Williams on his Britpop tour. That same year, they announced their biggest ever headline show for Saturday 30 May 2026 at LSV Stadium in their hometown of Leigh.

  • Songs that lift your soul.

Found this gem of a band when they supported Avril Lavigne last summer. I've seen loads of bands but never one that instantly charmed the audience and won them over so quickly, as a support act. They outshone the main act. Since then, we've been avid fans, tracking down all their older stuff, videos, which are also brilliant and waiting for them to tour. I was even going to see Robbie Williams (who I love too but the tour's so bloody expensive) just to catch the Lottery Winners, but we've found a date of their own. I can't wait to see them do a full set, with their own support band. For an original 90s kid- they are hitting all the right buttons. Love the fact that the very thing that made life hard for Thom as a kid, is part of the power behind them. ❤️ Can't wait for the new album and more tours. Keep shining.

We first saw the Lottery Winners in a cellar bar in Newcastle with about 100 other people. We've seen them 8 times now, bith as support and main act. Love them. Music is so good and the banter with the crowd can be hilarious. 100% recommend.

Seen these twice now. First as a support act for Rag'n'Bone Man where they played at a smaller venue at Warwick castle and they were great. Added to playlist and have since become one of me kids favourite as well. Next at Latitude where they were probably the band I wanted to see the most. Great catchy songs and an immense stage presence whether it be at a smaller castle courtyard or the main stage at a festival. Entertainment from start to finish
