About
Edinburgh trio taking funk-rock viral
High Fade are a three-man funk and disco powerhouse from Edinburgh, known for razor-sharp grooves, explosive live energy, and a sound that hits far harder than their lineup suggests.
With Harry Valentino on guitar and vocals, Oliver Sentance on bass, and newly joined Heath Campbell on drums, the trio is redefining what a modern funk band can be – tight, relentless, and impossible to ignore.
Their high-octane performances have earned them over 30 million views and streams in just six months, with viral hits like 'Sharpen Up', 'Burnin'', and 'Burnt Toast and Coffee' spreading across social media. Praise has poured in from Jack Black, Cypress Hill, Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple), and Brad Wilk (Rage Against The Machine), confirming High Fade’s rising status across scenes and generations.
The band’s old-school hustle – built on street shows and grassroots momentum – meets a forward-thinking approach to music and promotion. Their influences span Barry White and Motown to KISS and John Legend, blending classic soul with the swagger of rock and the pulse of club music.
With their own label, RPN Records, High Fade are releasing new music monthly, including a remix package for 'Sharpen Up' featuring club-ready edits from Opolopo and Oden & Fatzo – a nod to their love for dance music and its culture.
