The Aldwych Theatre was built as part of a pair with the Novello Theatre and each are placed either side of the Waldorf hotel. The theatre is within the hub of Londons Theatreland and is accessible via Aldwych and Drury Lane, which are both just a short distance away from the Strand.
The nearest rail station to the Aldwych Theatre is Charing Cross. From Charing Cross Rail Station, cross the road at the traffic lights and turn right along The Strand. Once you reach the Aldwych junction, the theatre is the second left hand turning on the corner between Drury Lane and Aldwych.
The nearest tube stations are Covent Garden (Piccadilly line) Holborn (Central and Piccadilly lines) and Charing Cross (Northern and Bakerloo lines)
From Covent Garden: Head out the station and east up Long Acre. Turn right down Drury Lane and then right again onto Aldwych when you reach the end of the road. The Aldwych theatre will be on your right.
From Holborn: Simply turn right out of Holborn station and walk down Kingsway towards Aldwych and the Strand. The theatre is a right hand turning as the road meets Aldwych.

The Box Office is open Monday to Saturday from midday until 15 minutes after the performance begins.
It is closed on all non performance days.

Collect tickets from the Aldwych Theatre box office on the day of the show an hour before the start of the performance. Take the credit card used to make the booking and Ticketmaster reference number with you. The cardholder will be required to sign for proof of purchase.
The Aldwych Theatre is within the London Congestion Charge Zone which applies from 7am until 6pm and costs £11.50 per day. If you are driving to the theatre after 6pm then you will not be charged.
The Aldwych Theatre is part of the Q-Park Scheme. The nearest participating car park is the 24hr Q Park Chinatown Car Park (20 Newport Place, WC2H 7PR). Parking costs £18 for up to 3hrs, and £24 for 4hrs but theatregoers can save 50% if they have their tickets validated at the theatre.
