About

Agatha Christie’s classic courtroom thriller puts you right in the dock

You have been summoned for jury service... Step inside the magnificent surroundings of London's County Hall and experience the intensity and drama of Agatha Christie’s gripping story of justice, passion and betrayal. The historic courtroom auditorium lets you step right into the middle of the drama as Christie's classic legal thriller unfolds around you in London's former seat of local government.

Leonard Vole is accused of murdering a wealthy widow to inherit her money – getting himself named the chief beneficiary of her will right before her suspicious death. Senior Barrister Sir Wilfrid Robarts takes up Vole's case but a flimsy alibi, a mysterious love affair and a less-than-compelling testimony from Vole's wife keep the stakes high. Will Leonard be able to convince the jury, and you, of his innocence to escape the hangman’s noose? Don’t miss director Lucy Bailey's landmark stage production on London’s Southbank, now back in the unique setting of London's County Hall.

The new cast includes Joe McNamara as the accused, Leonard Vole, Emer McDaid as Romaine, Jonathan Firth as Sir Wilfrid Robarts, Teddy Kempner as Mr Mayhew, Miles Richardson as Mr Myers and Martin Turner as Mr Justice Wainwright.

The rest of the new cast includes Christopher Dickins, Nicholas Fretwell, Yvonne Gidden, Sam Graham, Eliot Giuralarocca, Stewart Lockwood, Lorna Lowe, Ellie-Rose Mackinlay, Elana Martin, Simon Murray, Robert Rickman and Andrew Senesie.

Please note: There is not a cloakroom at this venue; bags that do not fit comfortably under a single seat will not be permitted.
