Paddington™ on Ice

New to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland this year, Paddington™ on Ice combines cutting edge choreography, stunning costumes and toe tapping music. This amazing ice show is already an incredible success in Germany, where it plays at Europa-Park (Germany’s largest theme park). Now, to the great delight of Paddington fans, the show can be seen for the first time in the UK.
At 45 minutes long, the show is the perfect length for family members of all ages. Join Paddington™ on his big adventure, as he travels by ship from the jungles of Peru to London. He’ll meet new friends along the way and find out that on-board not everything is plain sailing! Will he ever make it to London? Will he ever get to meet Mr. and Mrs. Brown at Paddington Station? This year’s all-new Cirque Berserk show ‘Freefall’ combines off-the-chart thrills with mind-blowing stunts, as the company’s international troupe of daredevils raise the stakes yet again. Set against a dystopian fantasy world, dazzling aerialists will perform gravity-defying feats high in the MegaDome, while in the ring below the legendary Globe of Death is back by popular demand, with its high-speed motorcyclists speeding at up to 60mph inside a giant steel cage. This year’s show will certainly not disappoint thrill-seekers who can expect fast-paced, full-throttle thrills in this unforgettable show.

About Magical Ice Kingdom presents 'A Christmas Carol'
Explore the UK's largest ice experience at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland. Step into Charles Dickens' most famous story, A Christmas Carol, beautifully crafted in ice and snow.
We transport you to the wintry streets of London, following Scrooge's Christmas tale of goodwill. Pass through Scrooge's icy bedroom where he's visited by the ghost of Jacob Marley and the three ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future. Immerse yourself in a Dickensian London street scene, then take your seat (and a selfie!) at the Cratchett family Christmas Feast. The magnificent gallery of hand carved ice and snow sculptures will make all the characters come alive for a truly unique experience.
The Magical Ice Kingdom is perfect for all ages and takes place within a specially created, cooled environment to maintain the ice and snow. With a setting of -10°C, we recommend wrapping up warm to make the most of your visit.

There's a brand new, biggest ever, wheel at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland and at 70 metres high it's the tallest transportable wheel in the world!
Do your sightseeing in the Giant Wheel at Winter Wonderland, where you'll see spectacular views over London in the comfort of enclosed pods. Take an early morning flight and see for miles, or after dark, be dazzled by all the illuminations below. Book a Private Pod to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or special occasion. The cosy pod, high above the ground, is perfect for a romantic date!

For some après-ski, ice cool fun come to Bar Ice at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland. Enjoy festive cocktails at this funky, pop-art themed bar where everything you see is crafted entirely from ice. A free cocktail is included in the price - choose from a menu of delicious alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, all served in individual pre-carved ice glasses.
This unique pop-up bar is kept at a chilly -10°C, but don’t worry, you’ll be provided with a winter cloak and gloves upon arrival to help keep you warm and cosy!

Winter Wonderland Comedy Club
Back by popular demand following its inaugural season last year, visitors can laugh-out-loud at The Winter Wonderland Comedy Club, Thursdays to Saturdays at 9pm in the MegaDome. Headline acts on the bill include the uproarious and endlessly inventive 'pun-monger' Milton Jones and Britain's Got Talent star, Lee Ridley (AKA Lost Voice Guy). He may not be able to talk but he definitely has something to say and his comedy will leave you speechless! More acts to be announced.
Specially curated for the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland by the award-winning international comedy company GetComedy, the Comedy Club will showcase established stand-up comedians and up-and-coming comics in a fast-paced 45 minute session. The perfect end to an evening at Winter Wonderland. A bar will be available for visitors. The line-up will change every week, so come and see your favourite comics.

Bar Hütte Karaoke
Times: 10:00 till 20:00. Each session lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes
A unique take on Alpine après ski with the chance to sing your heart out with friends and family in your own private hütte. Enjoy a cosy Christmas gathering in this Alpine-themed village, where friendly hosts wait on you hand and foot to bring you prosecco, ‘Shotskis’ and pizzas whilst you belt out Christmas classics.
Every Hütte is decked out with rustic wooden décor that provides a snug atmosphere for your group. You can order stone-baked pizzas and custom drinks exclusive to Bar Hütte guests. For those who have a sweet tooth, the chocolate calzone makes for a delicious desert.
Amongst the warm and cosy bar area and outside fire pits, we’ve got a schedule of incredible live music and DJs that’ll help you get into the party spirit.
Ice Sculpting Workshops
Times: Sessions run from 12:00 to 18:00 and last 40 minutes
Bring out your inner artist at the Winter Wonderland Ice Sculpting Workshops. Create your very own fun and frosty masterpiece under the expert guidance of the UK's finest ice artists who design and create Winter Wonderland's stunning Magical Ice Kingdom.
Each ice sculpting workshop is 40 minutes and available for those aged 12 years and over. Those aged between 12 and 17 years will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 and over.
Your ice sculpting session includes entry into the Magical Ice Kingdom.
Zippos Christmas Circus
Zippos Christmas Circus is a spectacular seasonally-themed show sure to entertain the whole family. This year's all-new show brings together a cast of colourful, international circus artists who'll be showing off their jaw-dropping aerial and acrobatic skills and laugh-out-loud clowning antics. This feelgood show is fun-packed from start to finish and at under an hour is the perfect length for families.

Mr. Men & Little Miss - The Show
Join your favourite Mr. Men and Little Miss characters as they leap off the page into Hyde Park Winter Wonderland!
For almost 50 years, Mr. Men and Little Misses have brought joy to millions of children all over the world through colour, simplicity and humour. Featuring Mr. Bump, Little Miss Splendid, Mr. Tickle, Little Miss Inventor and with a special appearance from Little Miss Christmas, Happyland bursts into life in a series of colourful and timeless stories told through puppetry and music.
Critically acclaimed at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2019, this beautifully crafted show has a special seasonal feel, and at 45 minutes is the perfect length for the youngest of children. The show is staged in the MegaDome with its family-friendly, fully heated, Big Top atmosphere and seating.

When is Winter Wonderland? What are the Winter Wonderland London opening times and dates?
Winter Wonderland Hyde Park opens on the first day at 16:00 on Thursday 21 November. After this the park opens every morning from 10:00 daily and closes at 22:00, excluding Christmas Day. The park is open for a six-week period from Thursday 21 November 2019 to Sunday 5 January 2020.
Where is Winter Wonderland and how do I get there?
Winter Wonderland and Paddington on Ice are based in Hyde Park, London, W2 2UH in the UK. It's recommended to use public transport to get to the venue, for which there are plenty of options.
How to get to Winter Wonderland Hyde Park:
- By Bus - There are many bus routes that operate services close to Hyde Park. From North London, you can take the 6, 7, 10, 16, 52, 73, 82, 390, and 414. From South London, you can take the 2, 36, 137, 436. From West London, you can take the 9, 10, 14, 19, 22, 52, 74, 148, and 414 buses. From East London, you can get the 30, 38 and 274.
- By Underground/Tube - Both the Central line and Piccadilly line go near the park. The Central line stations include Marble Arch and Bond Street, and you can also get the Piccadilly line to Green Park, Knightsbridge or Hyde Park Corner. You can also get the Victoria line from Victoria Station which also includes the National Rail Service.
- By Rail - There is a National Rail service to London Victoria Station.
- By Car - It is recommended to use public transport. However, for those travelling by car, you can avail of Q Park which has carparks at Park Lane and Marble Arch.
- By Taxi - There is a taxi rank located by the northbound carriageway of Park Lane, with the nearest entrance and exit at Brook Gate.

Is Winter Wonderland open on Christmas Day?
No, the park is closed on Christmas Day but is open every other day between 21 November and 5 January.
Is Winter Wonderland free?
Yes you can enter the park for free and there is no admission fee. There are a number of attractions within the park for which you will need to buy tickets and tokens to use.
What things are there to do at Winter Wonderland UK? How long do they last?
There are lots of activities to enjoy at the park. The attractions are listed below with the approximate times each amusement lasts.

When do tickets go on sale? Do tickets sell out?
Tickets for Paddington on Ice are on sale now. Tickets for additional attractions are available from 10 September onwards. The main attractions often sell out especially in the evenings and weekends, so it's recommended to buy tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.
Does Winter Wonderland take card?
Yes, you can use card and contactless card along with cash in the shops, bars, restaurants and games throughout Winter Wonderland. You can also pay for the rides through card or by purchasing tokens on site. Certain attractions can become fully booked out so it is highly recommended to buy Winter Wonderland tickets in advance online to avoid disappointment.
Can dogs go to Winter Wonderland?
Yes, you can bring your dog to enjoy the fun with the family! However, you must ensure your dog is on a leash and controlled at all times. Dogs cannot enter any of the attractions, with the exception of assistance dogs.
Can I park at Winter Wonderland?
Public transport is highly recommended. However, if you are parking, then it is advised to use Q Park car parking which have car parking zones at Park Lane and Marble Arch.
What is a family ticket?
A family ticket includes two Adults and two Children OR one Adult and three children. Child tickets are suitable for Children who are aged 12 and under.
Are there age limits?
There are no age limits to Winter Wonderland and there are attractions for the whole family to enjoy. There are attractions for children as young as two upwards. There are baby changing facilities on site.
Does Winter Wonderland close when it rains?
Winter Wonderland will remain open in all weather conditions, rain, snow or shine. There are plenty of seats in covered areas to escape the rain and some of these are also heated. It is an outdoor event so please ensure you are dressed appropriately for weather conditions.
Can you exchange Winter Wonderland tickets?
Tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable. Please ensure you turn up on time for your scheduled attraction at least 20 minutes in advance.
