GRAMMY Award-winning artist, actor and multifaceted entertainer, Will Smith has announced the upcoming Based on a True Story Summer Tour.
Smith will visit major cities throughout Morocco, Europe, and the United Kingdom, headlining shows in. Cardiff, Manchester, London, and more.
The Based On A True Story Tour announcement comes on the heels of Will Smith’s first full-length album in 20 years, Based on a True Story, which is set for release 28 March 2025. These live shows will see him performing songs from the new album along with his classic hits including 'Jiggy Wit It', 'Miami', 'Summertime' and more. The 14-track album will feature a variety of collaborators including DJ Jazzy Jeff, Teyana Taylor, and Jac Ross.
Previously released singles 'First Love', 'Beautiful Scars', 'TANTRUM', 'Work of Art' and 'You Can Make It' will all feature.
Will Smith is a multifaceted entertainer with a remarkable career spanning acting, music, and entrepreneurship. A winner of prestigious awards, including an Academy Award, four Grammy Awards, a SAG Award, a BAFTA Award, and an NAACP, he has made an indelible mark across multiple fields. Smith first gained fame with DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, earning Grammy Awards for iconic tracks like 'Parents Just Don't Understand' and 'Summertime'.
Transitioning to a solo career, he delivered chart-topping hits like 'Men in Black' and 'Gettin' Jiggy Wit It', further solidifying his place in the music industry with platinum albums such as Big Willie Style and Willennium.
Beyond his musical achievements, Smith has excelled as a media entrepreneur and bestselling author. Recently, Smith has made a comeback in music with his single 'You Can Make It', which debuted at number three on Billboard's Top Gospel Songs chart, which has since reached No.1 at Gospel Radio, the first for Smith at the format. He delivered a powerful live performance on the song at the 2024 BET Awards alongside Kirk Franklin, Chandler Moore, and the Sunday Service Choir. Seeing THE....WILL SMITH in Wolverhampton was amazing! Seeing his Oscar was also amazing! Well done to the team for getting such a huge star to come to Wolverhampton. I hope there are many more big names to come, excellent!

What a fantastic show. Will Smith gave 1000% energy. He told hes story, sung all the hits, plus some other songs which linked hes life together. He covered the Carlton dance, a speech in memory about the actor James Avery (uncle phil) ,shared the loved, and showed hes Oscar. The show was packed with everything you could want but not rushed. Tye atmosphere was electric with rhe whole of Brixton Academy singing the Fresh Prince of Bel air theme tune! Tickets were not over priced either! Horray! Worth the money and woukd go again in the future. Also The staff were great at B A. Plenty of them , well organised outside and in. Those at the front gave out water which was very appreciated as it was very hot in there.
Loved every minute, wanted it to last longer. Age range of fans was wild with a sold out packed venue. Class from start to finish. Wish he had more dates in London so i could experience it again. Reminded us why he is who he is and how he got here. The rise fall and resurgence from the ashes, great. Arrived in Brixton, low key, no big limo or entourage, great to see. Entertained from start to finish
Fun, energetic and full of nostalgia! Will Smith did not disappoint... I've loved and admired his good looks, acting skills and his voice for many years; and he still has them all!
Went to the soundcheck. Well worth the money. Brilliant to get up close and Will was so down to earth and didn't want to rush through like other artists. He actually cares about his fans. Great experience hope he comes back to the U.K again
Great venue, fantastic support act and Will was absolutely amazing.
This was one of the best gas I have ever been to, from the supporting DJ's that were on before right through to the end I had a fantastic time. The DJ's were good and played songs that clearly went down very well with the crowd. Will was phenomenal, engaged the crowd from start to finish, performed all the big hitting songs as well as a few select lesser known tracks but still went down well. He is a fantastic performer and I would happily attend another concert if her returns to the UK in the future
