  • 3rd time at wilderness and loved it.

The only thing I would change would be to put the bar back down the valley as it's a pain climbing the stairs and back down every time you need a drink.

  • Absolutely Brilliant

Our first time for 8 of us and Wilderness and not sure what to expect, well we had an amazing time, so friendly, chilled, such a variety of things to see and do and completely bonkers too! Would thoroughly recommend to anyone thinking about going!

  • Such a fun and free weekend

Without doubt this is an upmarket festival and it leans into that in a positive way. The sheer range of things on offer is beyond anything antbody could possibly want or need. The atmosphere is friendly engaging and feels very inclusive, i hope everyone there felt that. Food in the chefs lunches and dinners is of a good stanard. The food trucks are what they are and def need a bit of a kick as they are in the main very ordinary but edible. Entertainment is so varid. Standout artists where Faithless and Jessie Ware. I will of course mention Spooky-cash-cash as a brilliant DJ in the Valley. Also the Alergies where very good albeit they where in the small JumpYard stage !! Also Vanity fairy on the People Stage was very good The Playing fields always offer such good fun.............. check that out I can't recommend Wilderness to people with an open mind any more than just saying GO.

Positive: Flushing toilets in camp site The Riddle absolutely brilliant new venue. The quality and quantity of food venues. Female urinals..game changer The diverse and brilliant offerings. The base sound bath. Nine lives yoga, brilliant sessions The opportunities to learn so much from music to politics to books to crafts to dancing to challenge perceptions. The people, a really friendly atmosphere. The togetherness tent, excellent opportunity to learn how to converse and get what you want. The weather the wilderness gods were definitely on our side Warm showers. The staff, lots of people around making the place feel safe. The site was kept clear and reasonably litter free. The Negatives. No showers within "quite camping" The location of quite camping right beside the throughway of people returning late at night. To support better communication I personally think the togetherness tent would be better placed in a quieter environment. More free standing water taps would be helpful.

  • Good, but was better last year

by Bekko on 05/08/2024Cornbury Park - OxfordshireRating: 3 out of 5

Was a bit disappointed by the headliners this year, but had booked my tickets based on the 2023 line up. Constant searches when entering the campsite and arena are also annoying. Finally would like a more affordable babysitting service, so I could use it more often! Apart from that was marvellous! Great vibe, stalls, food, music, performers, a lake to swim in and clean showers and toilets!

  • Great but could do Better

We love Wilderness, this is our 3rd visit. However I couldn't help coming away a bit underwhelmed this year, the music acts were not a string as normal and the Valley strangely quieter. Boutique camping was brilliant

  • Good but......!

by Mallad on 05/08/2024Cornbury Park - OxfordshireRating: 4 out of 5

As always such a great chilled out festival - Faithless, Goldfrapp and Barry were excellent. Live letters - brilliant!! Felt that there was a push away from live bands towards DJ sets - management should try to stop the trend. Jumpyard threw up some impressive new bands as did The Peoples Front Room - loved the intimacy here and they made a great Bloody Mary! Food options were excellent as always. Was concerned about the toilet/shower facilities for such a large collection of "Live-in"vehicles but it seemed to work out OK. See you next year!!

  • Lovely but not going next year

by Kimdr on 05/08/2024Cornbury Park - OxfordshireRating: 3 out of 5

My sixth time at wilderness, it feels like they always mess up something and this year was no showers in quiet camping and then fobbing us off with different reasons/excuses depending on who you asked. Great new toilets with sinks mirrors and soap in the campsites but the water pressure was almost nonexistent at times. Love all the silly fun and the lovely orchestra etc stuff at the Atrium, also loved faithless and bjorn again. Fleetwood Mac party and house & garage party seemed strange choices for music. However many things are feeling a bit samey eg 80s Lycra aerobics, twisted Time Machine. Enjoyed it but Feel like I need to miss it next year.

  • Wonderful Wilderness

Don't listen to the nay sayers who label it as a Posh festival. It's no more middle class than all festivals these days. The best P words to describe this festival are : Party, Pleasure and Playful. So much fun.
