Walk The Moon are an American rock band based in Cincinnati, Ohio, currently comprised of Nicholas Petricca (lead vocals, keys), Sean Waugaman (vocals, drums), Kevin Ray (vocals, bass) and Eli Maiman (vocals, guitar).

The band's name comes from the song Walking on the Moon by The Police. They are best known for their single Shut Up and Dance, which hit No.4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached No.1 on the Billboard Rock Songs chart and Billboard Alternative Songs chart when it was released in 2014. In the UK, the single entered at No.75, before jumping 67 places to No.8. It then climbed to peak at No.4 and spent a total of 13 weeks in the Top 10.
