About

Opening October 2020 in Blackpool

Vampires Rock – Ghost Train first had its genesis back in 1993 when Manchester-born chef Steve Steinman appeared on Stars In Their Eyes as Meat Loaf. That one night of primetime TV fame led to a dramatic change of career, as Steinman found a new calling performing as a Meat Loaf tribute around the world.

Steinman’s original production, The Meat Loaf Story, was met with critical acclaim when it debuted at the London Palladium in 2000. He then followed this in 2004 with Vampires Rock, an original jukebox musical that saw Steinman himself take on the lead role of Baron Von Rockula, a hard rocking vampire on a quest to find a bride. The show featured hugely popular anthems from the likes of Guns N’ Roses, Meat Loaf, Bon Jovi and Alice Cooper.

Two hugely successful stadium tours followed, featuring Toyah Wilcox and Eddie Ojeda (Twisted Sister) leading Steinman to set about creating a sequel: Vampires Rock – Ghost Train. The sequel once again promised huge rock anthems from AC/DC, Journey, Queen and more, alongside Steinman’s patented tongue-in-cheek humour, all at full volume.
