About TRNSMT 2020

TRNSMT 2020 is a UK music festival based in Glasgow Green, Scotland on 10 - 12 July 2020. Along with some of the best pop, rock, hip hop and indie music acts across multiple stages, the event will also have plenty of street food stands and bars to choose from. Enjoy a weekend of top music talent and Scottish fun as TRNSMT goes from strength to strength since its inception in 2017.

The TRNSMT line up for their 2019 festival included headliners such as Stormzy, Gerry Cinnamon, Catfish & the Bottlemen, Bastille, George Ezra along with Scotland’s own Lewis Capaldi who also performed on the main stage. Years and Years, Sigrid, Jess Glynne, The Kooks and The Wombats also played across the 2019 festival weekend.

When is TRNSMT and what time does the festival start and finish?

TRNSMT 2020 is on from Friday 10 July to Sunday 12 July 2020. Gates open at 12:00 each day and will end late each night. Stage times and end times will be announced closer to the event.

Where is TRNSMT and how do I get there?

The festival is based in Glasgow's oldest park in the city, Glasgow Green, Scotland. You can get there by walking from the city centre along with the following options:

  • By Car - there are eight different car parks surrounding the festival and nearby.
  • By Train - Glasgow Green has five train stations within a 15-minute walk. Glasgow Central, Queen Street, High Street, Argyle Street and Bridgeton Station.
  • By Subway - The closest subway stations are Buchanan Street and St Enoch.
  • By Bus - Buchanan Bus Station is 20 minutes walk from the festival site and there are also First Bus services 18, 43, 64 and 263 which will drop you five minutes from the site. You can also access the festival by coach through City Link.

Will there be day tickets available?

Yes, subject to availability there will be one day and two day ticket options available plus VIP options on all ticket types. Day tickets are not available yet and a limited release of weekend and VIP tickets have sold out. Stay tuned for the next release of tickets here.

What is included in the VIP Tickets?

You will have access to a VIP entrance with bubbly on arrival each day, along with an exclusive chill-out zone out of the main festival arena. There is also a VIP bar and food area as well as seated area and upgraded flushing toilets.

Can I camp at TRNSMT?

No TRNSMT is not a camping festival so you will have to exit and re-enter the festival site each day. There are a variety of accommodation options available in the city.

Are there age restrictions?

Yes, children under 12 will not be allowed in the festival. Teenagers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder who is 21 and over. There is a maximum of four children to one adult. There will be a Challenge 25 policy in place at all bars, so it is advisable to bring photographic ID to the festival.

Can I book accessible tickets for the festival?

Yes, TRNSMT offer accessible tickets that operate a two for one (free PA/carer ticket) policy for eligible guests. Read more about accessible tickets and how to book on our help page.

When will I receive my tickets for TRNSMT 2020?

You should receive your tickets five days before the event. If the tickets have yet to arrive five days before, please contact us. You can check ticket dispatch information here.
