  • Pure bliss

Was amazing, such a great atmosphere everyone was so lovely to each other and the music was amazing, prices for the alcohol was a tad expensive though but overall 0 complaints would do again.

  • Fantastic music event

by DebW on 15/07/2024Glasgow Green - GlasgowRating: 5 out of 5

Music was fantastic, security staff were friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the event however cost of food and drink was very expensive. If it was less expensive people would buy more very expensive weekend for people which could put people off attending....more bins required to prevent rubbish on the ground....

  • Overall good

by Katie on 15/07/2024Glasgow Green - GlasgowRating: 3 out of 5

Line up was great, just a real shame sound quality was pretty bad, especially for headlining acts. Toilet facilities were pretty horrendous

  • Forget VIP+

by Mags on 15/07/2024Glasgow Green - GlasgowRating: 3 out of 5

Got our 3 day VIP PLUS tickets before the line up was announced. Some great acts but compared to other festivals, little in the way of "current" top acts. Really loved Ton Grennan, Caity Basser, Picture This, Example, Natasha Bedingfield, Dylan John Thomas and Gerry Cinnamin despite the technical issues affecting his set. The VIP plus experience was poor. Day 1, they let normal VIP have open access to Pen 2. The VIP plus exclusive bar was also open to all VIP meaning it was queued. They sorted this for Days 2 and 3. The cramming of Pen 2 when big acts were on meant that unless you wanted to fight through the crowds and risk crushing, you were left at the exit gates by the smelly toilets to stand with a very limited view of the screens. Really nothing going for the Plus aside from access to the bar in pen 2.

  • Overall really good

by CG on 15/07/2024Glasgow Green - GlasgowRating: 3 out of 5

The acts were really good, the hangout was the best bar by a country mile but the toilet facilities were disgusting & not maintained very well. Constant blockages & overfilling just rank & disgusting. Food definitely overpriced & getting charged for drink when they ran out. Mixed experience but overall good

  • Awsome

    by Chazza13 on 15/07/2024Glasgow Green - GlasgowRating: 4 out of 5

Amaxing day at trnsmt, drinks were reasonably priced as was food. Sun was shining, headline acts amazing but rest of acts quite poor for what your paying. It got quite busy at end of night which made me feel a bit squeezed as a lot of young ones squeezing in so had to miss last half of calving Harris which put a bit of a downer on it but overall had an amazing day.

  • Transmit weekend

Great atmosphere, outstanding Acts, weather made it too, nice & dry, most folk behaved,

  • Only a few gripes....

    by Mamma_Lairdy on 15/07/2024Glasgow Green - GlasgowRating: 4 out of 5

We paid £500 each for VIP+ and overall we were delighted with the whole experience. However...... The VIP+ bar in PEN 1 - only 3 different drinks available!!! Lager, wine, or cider, which no-one in our group of 3 drinks. We did try the wine, but to use a good Scottish term; it was BOWFIN! What a let down it was to have such a limited choice and definitely took the enjoyment out of what we thought would be a great perk of the VIP+ experience. We are all seasoned VIP TRNSMT attendees and we accessed the PEN1 for all the acts we wanted to see, but therein lay a problem. We're all in our 60's so standing in amongst the heart of the crowd isn't our scene. However, standing on the edge of the crowd as you access PEN1, meant we had absolutely no view of the stage because of the ROCKSTAR billboards. Really frustrating. The only act we could see was Calvin Harris and that was only because he was elevated high on the stage. Finally, the rules around buying alcohol are restricted to the extreme. Why are bar staff instructed to pour mixers into drinks before handing them over? We wanted to enjoy our spiced rum to our own taste and strength, but staff would not allow us that flexibility, insisting that mixers were poured to the top of the cups. And no doubles? Goodness me people of TRNSMT - I'm a grown up 😁 On a positive; thank you to each and every person working so hard to ensure our safety and guidance around the Green. The security staff were almost all fab! Poor show to the one lady who after exiting the accessible toilets in the VIP area, told me it was now closed! It was 11.10pm!!! Anyway I soon sorted her out by "reminding"her that it's just not acceptable to deny access to someone with toilet needs a whole hour before bars and eating venues

As alway's trnsmt was phenomenal, the staff at this event are alway's great so helpful and nothing is a problem. Then there is alway's such a great crowd that some travel from all over the country to attend, never disappointing with the act's that play, the atmosphere as alway's is electric, it's a must event for live music lover's, roll on trnsmt 2025!

  • Too many wains

by unknown on 15/07/2024Glasgow Green - GlasgowRating: 3 out of 5

Too many people with fake id who look about 12 Liam Gallagher was not good at all Example was disappointing he should have been on the main stage Food/Drink overpriced Rotation for pens

  • Poor festival

by jingo on 15/07/2024Glasgow Green - GlasgowRating: 2 out of 5

Lineup was very weak the whole weekend and the festival itself is just very poor in comparison to others. Liam Gallagher saved the day on Friday but the way the stage and barriers etc are set up is also very poorly set up

  • Bad sound system

by Jerryberry on 15/07/2024Glasgow Green - GlasgowRating: 3 out of 5

Great venue and layout , great bands but massively let down by the sound team Biggest acts on sat, the Microphone wasn't working it was a joke unless they were shouting for both , Gerry and courteeners. Not only that and all you could hear was bass from the other stage, as they didn't give Gerry his trademark festival bass thumping pedal or if they did it didn't work. Hugely disappointed

  • VIP - Don't Bother

by Nick on 15/07/2024Glasgow Green - GlasgowRating: 4 out of 5

The gig was great, the Scots friendly and the atmosphere fantastic. The VIP area was a joke - a long way round to (and back from ) the main stage, there was nowhwere near enough seating for all the people in there and the toilets (all of them) at one stage were out of order - although not for that long. There were no queues for food in the main area and it was all very relaxed, on the whole the VIP tickets were without any value (I'm comparing to Foo Fighters at Bellahouston Park a few years ago) If buying tickets to TRANSMT again, standard is the way to go

  • Far too young

by Mac on 15/07/2024Glasgow Green - GlasgowRating: 3 out of 5

While the headliners were insane, the fact that it's open to 16 year olds is shocking! So many young people in really bad states (younger than 18) being carried out by first aiders and security. It was so worrying to see! Having said that we did have a great time, but definitely wouldn't go back!

  • DNB 4 life

  • Fantastic experience

by Teresa on 15/07/2024Glasgow Green - GlasgowRating: 4 out of 5

The festival was great. Bars were well prepared and queues well managed. Couldn't get into the pen due to volume. Toilet queues and toilets not good or sufficient for ladies.

  • Could have been better!

by Ellie on 15/07/2024Glasgow Green - GlasgowRating: 3 out of 5

I've attended TRNSMT in previous years but honestly this year wasn't great. Having thought VIP (which we purchased) would be good, I was so disappointed and amazed at the amount of folk who did actually have the same - would not have expected as many having that privilege - I wonder what the headcount was for VIP, VIP+ and Ultimate?? VIP to me is a select few yet this seemed very much the 'normal' to pack it with folks who didn't appreciate the sentiment. The food and drinks offers was great but no where near enough seating in the area - which was also shared with VIP+ - the signposting wasn't great to figure out and the facilities for the price paid did not quantify the means!! Pretty steep for the use of a public space which was shared and so much scattered about the said area. The toilets were shocking!! If I'm honest I found the port a loos much better & that's saying something. Utterly disgusting should be considered a compliment! On day 3 we opted to upgrade for two reasons - one to guarantee access to the front pen for Tom Grennan and to get some additional drinks and seats in the VIP+ bar next to the stage, imagine my shock when this was just a pop up with no seating and from non drinkers the cost was outrageous and one I quickly regretted. I genuinely can't believe I paid £95 (each) to stand in an area for hours and buy 2 bottles of water. Whilst the artists and food and drinks were great, the amount of youngsters attending this event were unbelievable, I thought I was going to a festival not going on a high school trip - utterly scunnered with those that can't behave at an event, are so drunk and full of drugs and have no respect for the music. I'm not that old but they ruined it hands down. I think the event would do much better for 18+ only. Some of the kids are the event would have been lucky to be 12 never mind 16!!! Think you need to seriously look at the profiling of attendees and manage it accordingly, I also think you need to develop a front pen area/space for those who pay VIP, VIP+ and Ultimate respectively as paying a LOT of money for access yet it's shared with folk who paid much less, that's not right. I don't understand why general admission would get the luxury of that space - in years gone by it would be reserved for those who paid for the space, same as a gig in a venue. Would I go again?! I doubt it, absolute waste of hard earned cash for very little reward. A further note that you gave us a whole list of prohibited items yet on wandering around it was obvious folks brought chairs in and had I have known that was an option I too would have brought a chair to aid an injury I have. Seems some rules were just made up in all honesty. I realise you will get 1000's of great reviews and do nothing with this one but feel you should consider the points and learn from them - or refund the part paid for zero extra benefits. In short it was like buying a Range Rover and leaving with a Ford Ka!

  • Not worth it

by Daz on 15/07/2024Glasgow Green - GlasgowRating: 1 out of 5

The energy/crowd was a huge let down and the whole weekend was so exspensive. Not enough good acts on either. Bring back T in the park
