A summer series of live tribute acts in stunning surroundings
Trentham Estate is a vast woodland and ornate garden located near Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire. While the hall itself is now derelict, the beautiful Italianate Trentham Gardens – designed by Sir Charles Barry – were extensively restored and are surrounded by the beautiful Royal Diamond Jubilee Woodland. As part of the estate's ongoing redevelopment, it also includes a shopping village and has recently become the setting for live outdoor concerts in the summer.
For 2021, a series of live performances by tribute acts has been announced, taking place on Trentham Estate on Friday and Saturday nights through July and August. The series will see themed nights ('80s, rock anthems, club classics, etc.) as well as tribute acts to much-loved artists such as The Spice Girls, The Killers, Take That, Queen and ABBA.

Accessible spaces are extremely limited for these screenings. Ambulant accessible tickets are unlimited, however they will still operate on a 1-1 basis. If you have any questions regarding accessible tickets, please contact our online help desk.
The nearest train station is Stoke-on-Trent, which is approximately 4 miles from The Trentham Estate. Stafford Station is approximately 12 miles from The Trentham Estate. Buses and taxis are readily available at both stations. You can also get to us on bus from Hanley Bus Station and Stafford Town Centre.
Tickets are on sale now. Tickets will not be available to buy on the day, in advance, over the phone or in person at The Trentham Estate.
It's highly recommend you book in advance. Capacity is reduced and limited due to the ongoing situation with Covid-19, plus no tickets can be reserved on the day.
Children are welcome to attend the concerts but will require a ticket and all under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
Children under three years of age are permitted free of charge. However, as young children have sensitive hearing, the use of hearing protection is encouraged for very young visitors.
If you’re celebrating a special occasion, or would like your own private space for these concerts, why not book a VIP gazebo? Bring your own picnic, or pre-order a Pods & Picnics, picnic hamper* and they'll do the rest. You'll be provided with a 3m x 3m gazebo plus private grass space, 6ft trestle table and six Trentham deckchairs all located within the premium seating area with an elevated view across the lake. The cost is £55 per gazebo, in addition to event tickets. The gazebos seat a maximum of six people.
All gazebos enable your group to comfortably socially distance from others at the event. They are situated two metres apart, are enclosed on three sides and have a private grassed area which features a bunting boundary. Gazebos and deckchairs are cleaned after every concert using anti-viral spray.
In line with current social distancing guidelines, gazebos are recommended for a maximum of six people from different households or two households. Please note the gazebos are unfortunately not accessible.
Personal tents, windbreaks and visitors' own gazebos are not permitted at these events.
*additional charge applies
Please note: If you are looking to hire a gazebo, book as close to ticket release as you can as they are limited and may sell out quickly. They need to be purchased via the event page. A VIP gazebo is an add-on and does not provide entry. You will also need to purchase event tickets.
You are still welcome to buy a VIP gazebo after you have bought your tickets. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to get a unique link to book.
You can also email with your booking reference if you have booked more than one gazebo for your group and want to ensure they are next door to each other.
You can purchase up to eight tickets per transaction. Gazebos are add-ons and do not permit entry into the event therefore there is no limit on the number of gazebos you can add on (subject to availability). Please ensure if you purchase a gazebo that you also have the required number of tickets for your group size.
According to the latest government guidance, events of this nature will be able to take place from the 17 May 2021 onwards. Trentham Summer Concerts have implemented measures such as a one-way system, safe queuing areas and extra toilet and handwashing facilities to make these events as safe and comfortable as possible for visitors. They will send you an email in advance of your visit with all the details you need to know on the measures they are implementing for your safety.
In this situation, please email email@example.com
Trentham Members will have priority booking for these concerts. Members will have a week to purchase tickets for these events before they are released to the general public.
Gates will open at 18:00. The concerts will start at 19:30 and end at approximately 22:00, with a short interval halfway through.
If you wish to visit the gardens during the day prior to the concerts, you will need to purchase a separate day ticket, or book a slot to visit as a member, from www.trentham.co.uk, and leave when the gardens close at 17:30.
Event entry will be permitted until 20:00 on the night of the event(s). Anyone arriving after this time will be unable to access the concerts.
These concerts will still go ahead in inclement weather conditions. Please check the weather forecast in advance and be prepared for the great British summer. These events will only be cancelled if the weather conditions present a danger at the time of the concert.
Visitors accept the risk that weather they consider unsatisfactory may occur on a concert night and acknowledge that tickets will not be exchanged or refunded unless a concert is cancelled by The Trentham Estate. In the unlikely event that a concert is cancelled, Trentham will aim to give as much notice as possible, so please keep an eye out for information on the website and social media channels.
Concert guests are able to park at The Trentham Estate at the main North Entrance. Please follow the road around to the left once you turn into the Estate where you will be directed by marshals. Entry will not be permitted from the South Entrance. Please note that cars cannot be left overnight in the car park.
There will be a drop-off/taxi point located on the main car park.
Please note that apart from the VIP gazebo, no seats are provided so please feel free to bring a picnic chair or blanket to sit on, but please be aware, the audience may choose to stand throughout the event in any part of the arena. You cannot claim a spot with blankets and chairs and leave it unattended. Seating is in the open air on variable ground conditions so please ensure you bring appropriate provision for your needs. Personal gazebos, tents, awnings, golf umbrellas or canopies or any item which could obscure other visitors' views are not permitted.
Sorry, for the safety of both your dog and other visitors, dogs are not allowed to the concert nights, with the exception of assistance dogs.
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the event arena, therefore you may be asked to move away from the crowd to smoke in the designated smoking area out of respect for other audience members. Smoking and vaping are also strictly prohibited in the gazebos.
Yes, in addition to existing toilet facilities by the Tearoom, there will be individual toilet cubicles at the event to reduce queuing. Toilets are cleaned daily and will be treated throughout the event with anti-viral spray. There will also be additional hand washing/hand sanitising facilities.
The concerts are all held outdoors so please ensure you wear appropriate clothing but also feel free to embrace the grandeur of the events and turn out in your dapper best! Please bear in mind that it can get chilly later in the evenings so make sure you bring something warm to wrap up in.
A range of food and drink will be available at the concerts, including pre-bookable Totally Delicious picnic hampers. These are bookable here (https://totally-delicious.co.uk/pods-picnics/) and will be available for collection on the night of your concert between 18:00 and 19:00. Picnics can be booked up to seven days in advance of your chosen concert date.
You’re also welcome to bring a picnic with you and your own drinks, as long as they are within the allowance (see below). Challenge 25 will be in operation so if you're lucky enough to look under age 25, please ensure you bring proof of age ID with you.
As these are family picnic concerts, you are welcome to bring a moderate amount of alcohol with you, which has been defined as four cans of beer or cider, or a 75cl bottle of wine, or four cans of combined spirit and mixer per adult. Please do not bring any excess alcohol to the site as you will be asked to dispose of it before entering or will be refused admission. Please note that glass of any kind is not allowed, including bottles of wine and beer. All drinks must be in plastic or cans and please use plastic to drink from as opposed to glass that can easily break.
For the safety of staff and visitors, there are certain other items which are not allowed in the arena. It is essential that you check the terms and conditions for the complete list of prohibited items, however the most common prohibited items to be aware of are:
- Personal gazebos and tents
- Excess alcohol
- Large umbrellas (small personal ones are permitted)
- Glass of any kind including bottles and jars
- Knives – remember to pre-cut your picnic foods
- Barbeques, lanterns and candles
Please be aware that bag checks will be made by security guards BEFORE you enter the event. No bottles, naked flames or knives will be permitted, and quantities of alcohol will be checked to ensure it is in line with the admission policy.
Trentham prohibits photography and use of video/recording equipment during performances, unless for private use. They therefore do not permit tripods, audio, visual and video equipment, and cameras with detachable lenses into the concerts. Please note, on the night of the event, artists may make specific requests limiting photography. The security team's decision is final.
They take place on the Amphitheatre, near the Tearooms.
There is a Premier Inn located onsite. For other accommodations, please contact the local tourist information website, Visit Stoke, for full details of local accommodation. The Trentham Estate does not allow camping on site or in the car park area.
When leaving the site, please be considerate of neighbours, leave quietly, and use the bins provided for all rubbish or take it home with you.
