The Bedford-born powerhouse vocalist
Tom Grennan is a songwriter with a purpose: to embrace, encourage and lift listeners with lyrical positivity, brightness – and sky-scraping choruses to sing to the rafters.
Grennan's love affair with music began early on. Growing up in Bedford, his parents fostered a love for artists like The Rolling Stones, Aretha Franklin, and Van Morrison.
As a teenager, Grennan honed his musical skills by performing in pubs and clubs. He caught the attention of the local scene, but it took a move to London (and the attention of producer and songwriter Fraser T. Smith) for Grennan to start truly finding his voice – blending the soulful influences of his youth with a modern, indie-rock sound.
In 2016, Grennan's breakthrough came with the release of his debut single, 'Something In The Water'. The song showcased his distinctive vocal range and knack for crafting emotionally resonant lyrics, and its success led to Grennan being featured on BBC's Sound of 2017 list.
A debut album came next, with 2018's Lighting Matches. The album's hit singles, including 'Found What I've Been Looking For' and 'Barbed Wire', solidified his status as a rising star and brought him to stages at Glastonbury and Reading & Leeds before 2021's breakthrough No.1 album Evering Road kept him there. The release of 2023's What Ifs & Maybes secured Grennan's second UK No.1 album. More widespread critical acclaim followed, as did his first headline arena shows in the UK.
After bagging multiple BRIT and Ivor Novello Award nominations, Grennan is readying to take things to a whole new level still with state-of-the-art pop album Everywhere I Went Led Me To Where I Didn't Want To Be and an accompanying arena tour in 2025. Keen to explore a new sound, Tom enlisted the songwriter and producer behind hits for Britney Spears, Linkin Park, Dua Lipa and Fall Out Boy and found in Tranter a collaborator who understood exactly what he wanted to say and what he wanted to sound like: George Michael, Prince, Freddie Mercury. “So much of the new music is uplifting — it makes you dance, makes you sing,” Tom says.
While the title alludes to a time when Tom faced challenges with his mental health, Everywhere I Went Led Me To Where I Didn't Want To Be is a positive album about self-belief and having the confidence to take risks. “This album is about me, revived. Now I'm at a place where I DO want to be. And I'm ready to blow people's heads off.”
It sees the evolution of one of UK’s most exciting talents at his creative best and is set to be a stunning addition to Tom Grennan’s already-impressive discography, which has seen him accumulate over 1.5 million album sales and 2.5 billion streams.

I had a wonderful day at Gunnersbury Park watching Tom Grennan and other amazing artists perform. There were plentiful facilities available and lots of choice when it came to food, although there were long queues, I expected this. The acts themselves were incredible and I would recommend seeing all of them live.
The whole experience inside Gunnersbury Park was well organised. Sounds was great. Tom was an amazing performer, looked after someone in the crowd when they needed medical attention. Performance and voice was spot on. Saw Tom at Glastonbury, both times were amazing.
Didn't get to see all of the support acts but what I did see were fantastic. However, the main act - Tom Grennan - what a guy, what an act. Had us entertained from beginning to end - even when we had the slight delay in the middle due to medical emergency. We have never danced and sung so much - I literally ached the following day and had no voice. You are such an entertainer Tom - keep doing what you're doing cause we love you so much and we will definitely be seeing you live again!
Tom was absolutely phenomenal. Watched his show at Gunnersbury park, amazing entrance and equally amazing guest acts! This show exceeded my expectations I was blown away! He is such a showman and the vibes were immaculate. Gets the crowd so involved, will 1000000% be seeing him live again! Obsessed 🫶🏻
The vip area was a complete waste of money, was busy, not enough food offers or no way near enough space and seats Que for toilets and bar was just as big as the rest of the site The concert was good but felt very very disappointed with the state of the facilities and the cost of paying for an experience offered but not fulfilled
We went to watch Tom Grennan at Gunnersbury Park and he was incredible. He was highly engaging and interacted with the crowd really well. The whole set was brilliant, including all the songs & fireworks
It was an unreal show, managed to fit in lots of songs and it was such a good experience. Blossoms where fantastic aswell in the atmosphere they brought
Tom Grennan was absolutely amazing, he is such a fantastic artist. The one thing I was really disappointed was the VIP lounge. I treated my daughter to the VIP experience for her 15th birthday. We entered at the general admission area and noted all the food stalls and merchandise but thought we would leave everything until we went to the VIP lounge expecting there to be better food and merchandise in there. We were really disappointed when we got to the VIP lounge to discover there were two food stalls no merchandise in there and toilets no different really from the general admission. It also meant that my daughter missed out on the T-shirt she wanted as when we got back to the general admission area the T-shirt was sold out! Expected a bit more from the VIP experience to be honest.
I thought the concert was great! Tom Grennan is great at interacting with the crowd and brings so much energy. First time seeing Tom, and I thought he has a great voice and vibe. Venue was a short walk to the tube station.
Simply fantastic! Thank you to absolutely everyone involved in making it happen! To see so many families ,children and all age groups together living life is priceless! .... Tom you are an inspiration! X
Tom outdid himself this time!! An all round entertainer who cares. Support acts were up to par as well. A fantastic day out.
Atmosphere was amazing, best night of my life. Lots of different food choices lots of security to make the place very safe. Staff very friendly and lovely. Tom grennan was amazing made the night so enjoyable and interacting. Will definitely do again.
We had a blast, what a show! Tom is amazing, his performance was full of energy, and he worked the crowd really well. We are now big fans and will definitely go and see him again in the future!

Just awesome. His gigs get better and better (if that's possible). An amazing voice, so friendly and caring about the audience. He is total perfection. Thank you Tom for such a totally amazing show!! Can't wait till the next one!!

Tom is a showman and every tune is an absolute banger. We loved every second he was on stage and had the best time! The only reason I gave 4 not 5 is the venue was an absolute nightmare to get out of and Tom was 30 mins late and finished at the same time so was a shorter show than we expected.
This is the 6th time of seeing Tom perform from his first gig in Birmingham and i have watched him become a fantastic performer. He has boundless energy delights the crowds with great singalong anthems. Just a great night all round. Can't wait for the next time.
Tom is one of the nicest lads I've met. His voice is even better live. The tone to his voice is amazing. He band were also fantastic. Can't wait for the next tour.
