Derby's second Summer Sessions is coming to Vaillant Live in 2025
Derby's newest entertainment venue, Vaillant Live, will host Derby's second Summer Sessions. At the heart of the Midlands, Vaillant Live is a dynamic new destination for events.
TK Maxx presents Derby Summer Sessions returns for a second year, with 2024 seeing contemporary chart-toppers and bonafide music legends performing to sell-out crowds, dishing out doses of nostalgia and hands-in-the-air anthems in equal measure.
The event's debut edition was headlined by ever-enthusiastic dance-pop singer Becky Hill, baggy trouser-ed ska mainstays Madness, and a man that needs no introduction: evergreen Welsh powerhouse Tom Jones.
The event returns for 2025, extending the series to over a week of live music. The diverse line-up doubled down on epic headliners in 2025, inviting the likes of Simple Minds, Blossoms, Rag'n'Bone Man, Faithless, Jess Glynne, The Human League, and UB40 featuring Ali Campbell all to perform at the brand-new Vaillant Live arena, with plenty of special guests on the bill too.

What a brilliant experience Tom Jones was amazing, in fact everyone was hope they do this again next year.
This event exceeded pur expectations enormously. We purchased on 3 day pass and thoroughly enjoyed all of the entertainers performances. It was all pretty much on time and the areas were kept clean and accessible.
Brilliant three days, with climax being day 3, very well organised easy to access with speed through queues. Like any big event prices for food and drink extortionate, needs to be a cap on what should be charged.
