About The Wizard of Oz

Follow the Yellow Brick Road to The Lowry next Christmas for the most magical family musical of them all.

The Wizard of Oz is back by popular demand and we are delighted to welcome international star Lorna Luft as the Wicked Witch.

Daughter of legendary Judy Garland, Lorna has found fame on stage and screen, performing spectacular concerts on Broadway and the West End and most recently enormous success with the international tour of her show, Songs My Mother Taught Me.

Based on, and faithful to, the classic Judy Garland film, all the famous songs and characters are here along with a couple of fresh touches along the way. Join Dorothy, Toto, Tin Man, Scarecrow and Cowardly Lion and enjoy such classics as We're Off To See The Wizard, Follow The Yellow Brick Road and of course the unforgettable, Over The Rainbow.

With magnificent special effects, including a dramatic tornado and a flying witch, you'll see Dorothy (and Toto) transported from her everyday, monochrome world on the farm in Kansas, to Munchkin City in the colourful land of Oz.

So, come with us, over that legendary rainbow, and follow Dorothy and friends as they make their way to the wonderful Wizard of Oz, and your dreams of a very special seasonal treat for the whole family really will come true.

The Wizard of Oz is our fastest-selling Christmas show so book now to avoid disappointment.

And remember...there's no place like home.
