Swaggering rock 'n' roll from the East Midlands
Following the band’s sensational performance at Download Festival at the weekend, The Struts will be returning to the UK and Europe at the end of September for a run of dates, entitled The Grand Union Tour, with British singer Barns Courtney, who has been appearing as the Special Guest on their mammoth ‘Pretty Vicious’ US headline tour.
Lead singer Luke Spiller says, “We are really looking forward to getting back out and bringing our best show to date alongside our longterm friend and partner in rock, Barns Courtney. It truly is going to be the hottest ticket in town.”
British Rock band, The Struts – named from an offhand comment about their unbridled stage presence – have earned a global reputation as a must-see live act. The band, comprised of lead vocalist Luke Spiller, guitarist Adam Slack, bassist Jed Elliott, and drummer Gethin Davies, formed in Derby England in 2012.
Bursting onto the scene with 'Could Have Been Me', they went on to release three albums (including collaborations with heavy hitters such as Robbie Williams, Kesha, Tom Morello, and Def Leppard’s Joe Elliott and Phil Collen), earned the No.1 spot on the Spotify Viral Top 50, appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel Live!, garnered more than 850 million on-demand streams and sold out shows across the globe.
Praised for their onstage swagger and musicianship, they have opened for The Rolling Stones, Foo Fighters and Guns N’ Roses, played major festivals including Lollapalooza and Governors Ball, and headlined their own world-wide tours. After signing with Big Machine Label Group, the mesmerizing rockers released the anthemic single, 'Fallin’ With Me' in late 2022.
So I went to see Barns Courtney bit I have to say I loved The Struts as well, the lead singer was so lovely, his energy was amazing and his genuine appreciation of the fan reactions was lovely... What a great combination of the 3 acts and Barns Courtney didn't disappoint her was fantastic

What a great night was had Barns Courtney and The Struts two great bands, two fun frontmen. Barns Courtney consisted of crowd surfing,mike breaking and skateboarding across the stage on a box before throwing said box off the stage, great set too. Following them was The Struts who also produced a great set, froze the audience, jumped into the crowd and danced like there was no tomorrow brilliant!
Fantastic venue, organised queuing with time saved by checking tickets and stamps before doors opening so straight into venue. Not long to wait before first artist performed. Toilet queue well controlled. Gig was incredible!

Third time seeing these guys. Such a great live band. 3 new setlists in 3 years. Still amazed these guys aren't playing stadiums. Cant wait until next time.
My third time seeing the band...excellent live act as before however they shared lead billing with Courtney Barnes and therefore both acts played equal shortened sets and NO encore. Felt a little shortchanged, a few songs sidelined as a result, but wouldn't hesitate to see them again...please no shared billing.
The Struts were in top top form at Leeds last night, belting out hit after hit. Luke had the crowd in the play of his hand from the get go and even had time to join the audience for a sing a long. Barns Courtney were also on good form, those who left after The Struts missed a treat.
