The ultimate end-of-summer party

Announced in May 2021, The Last Dance Festival’s debut was set for the tail end of summertime on Saturday 25 September 2021 at Kent’s historic amusement park Dreamland Margate.

Nestled alongside sandy beaches, the new one-day event comprises a stellar line-up of electronic, house, dance and funk, featuring headliners Groove Armada and Basement Jaxx, plus Crazy P Soundsystem, Trojan Sound System, Ashley Beedle, Norman Jay, Renegade Brass Band, Jo Wallace and many more.

Festival goers not only enjoy incredible DJ sets and music but also theme park rides and the beautiful seaside atmosphere. The ideal location, The Last Dance Festival offers a fun and entertaining day out not to be forgotten.

The Last Dance Festival's 2021 headliners

Groove Armada – One of the UK's best loved dance acts, Andy Cato and Tom Findlay have been making music together since the mid '90s. With eight records to their credit, Groove Armada have received a Billboard Music Video Award nomination for their 2000 song I See You Baby as well as Grammy nominations for their 2001 singles Superstylin' and Easy along with their 2011 album Black Light.

Basement Jaxx – Comprised of Simon Ratcliffe and Felix Buxton, the double BRIT Award-winning Basement Jaxx are known for their 1999 critically acclaimed No.4-charting debut album Remedy and their 2005 double platinum No.1-charting collection The Singles. They also had a long-running Ibiza residency at Glitterbox that was among the island's must-go events.

Getting there

Travelling from London to Margate is easy via Southeastern Trains. Service operates from St Pancras International (approximately 91 minutes) and Victoria (just under two hours) stations.

Among the bus routes around Thanet that stop at or near Dreamland Margate are the 8, 32, 33, 34, 36, 56 and Loop lines run by Stagecoach. National Express also runs a national network of coach services, including one from London Victoria that takes approximately two hours.

Simply plan your route using the postal code CT9 1XJ. There are excellent road links with the M20 and M2 motorways close by providing easy links from London. Parking is available around the corner from Dreamland Margate at the Arlington Car Park, located on All Saints Avenue.
